The view from below the Lighthouse is marvelous to look out over the Atlantic Ocean and see the mist rolling in.

Great views. Very cool to stand in most eastern spot in North America. The day we were there was extremely windy so we bundled up in sweaters and warm coats with hoods. We saw some whales blowing in the distance. Once we made it all...More

The fact that cape spear still has a working lighthouse is amazing. The smell of the fresh salty air combined with the view is something I've always loved.

Most Easterly point n North America, glad I live nearby. I visit several time a year, beautiful views in historic setting. Windy days with large waves breaking on the shore are my favourite.

Very interesting tour of the eastern most point in North America. The barren landscape, wind and desolation is hauntingly beautiful and certainly highlights the special nature required of the lighthouse keepers who lived on the premises before automation of the coastal lights.

Absolutely spectacular. Caught it on a beautiful day as per pictures. Saw humpback whales in the bay, great views, and for a moment I was the Eastern most man in North America! You must visit Cape Spear if you are in the area.

We had perfect weather and the views were stunning. My wee one spotted several whales from the coast line. I would be cautious with small children as the cliffs are quite severe- and no fences!

Surprisingly good views without having to go to the top of anything. It's fun to know you are on the most eastern point of North America.

Great stop. Saw icebergs nearby. Very windy. They had good walkways going up to the lighthouse. Could go in one of the lighthouses there. One walkway took you down to the most easterly spot in the Americas.

The clean air and the beautiful view were worth the trip. The ice burgs were nice to see. Walk around and read the history and walk the scenic walk ways
