Wonderful site with lighthouse (quite a few steps)...check out the bunker first and then go up steps to lighthouse. Spend 30 minutes or a couple hours your choice

A 20 minute drive from downtown. Great views. The historic lighthouse is interesting and there is a Parks Canada booklet for the kids. Takes about 1-2 hours to walk around and take everything in, including the two gun turrets down on the cliffs.

That I did not see. But before you head there you can eat at a few places a few miles away.
