We visited night and day - both views spectacular. We only had time for the Ladies Trail, but I wished I had more time to walk some others. This is THE must see in St. John’s.

Itis a short walk from the carpark with information boards along the way. You get great views of St John's and the surrounding coastline from the perimeter walk and from the Tower roof. The tower itself contains a small gift shop and an exhibition of various radio equipment used by Marconi. There is a very narrow staircase to the exhibition and also leads to the roof for 360 degree views of the surrounding area. At midday the 12 o'clock gun is fired, which normally draws a crowd. Apparently you can purchase tickets to allow you to fire the gun under supervision. For the history and the views, well worth a visit.

Windy so dress for it. Nice views and great for photos all around. The trek up might be difficult for some.

Well worth a visit. An imposing tower located on the top of Signal Hill and dedicated to the explorer John Cabot and also to Marconi's first transatlantic message.
