Walked from the Chocolate Shop after the military tattoo around past the gun batteries to the Cabot Tower. Magnificent piece of architecture giving fabulous views of St John's harbour.

Incredible views of St. Johns and environs, plus out east to Cape Spear. There is a good drive from the center of St. Johns, and interesting points to observe.

Cabot tower sits on top of Signal Hill and from this vantage point you have great views of the city. When you look east you have the vast Atlantic Ocean. It can be windy so dress appropriately.
