I'm not a lover of caged animals on a good day, but my boyfriend and I took his daughter to visit the Cherry Brook Zoo. This place should be shut down and the animals given a decent life elsewhere. Tiny enclosures, run down grounds, and animals in distress. The poor solitary tiger paved back and forth, and whimpered the whole... More

The staff member at the entrance was very excited and went over the entire map with the kids, telling them all the names of the animals and explaining the best route to take though the park. Watch the steps on the way out of the gift shop into the zoo they are very slippery. Lots of rough trails, and hills,... More

Within city of Saint John, a big part of the Rockwood park, it's a great place to visit our exotic and endangered species such as a Siberian Tiger, Snow Leopard, Golden Lion Tamarin and Goeldi monkey. Mini-golf, souvenir store and oh, don't forget to visit the Forgotten Kingdom; extincted animals like the 10 foot tall and 1000 pound bird that... More

This was my first time in Saint John, so I wanted to make the most of it and visit some of their very few attractions. As you can appreciate it, it is still winter so we weren't looking for anything spectacular with crowds of people or anything. However, considering it was March Break in NB we thought they would have... More

This zoo does much to provide an uncrowded source of interest for the whole family. Close to parks and Uptown Saint John. 10 minutes by car from City Centre. Great value.

Find memory from our first date keeps us returning again and again. This is a small town zoo, and they make due. Passionate caretakers make a huge difference.

Was far better than I expected and my little baby girl was also so close she could really see the animals and enjoy them. Been to zoos all around the world and this was a real enjoyable type of smaller but really cool Zoo. The primates were so super cool to see in their winter homes and actually you get... More

While it leaves much to be desired, they do their best and the staff is very friendly. The last time I was there with my children one of the staff offered to take the bunnies out so my kids could pet them, it made their day and in turn, mine. It is kept clean and well maintained.

Animals were great kids loved it. Small but still enjoyable. Kids loved walking through the extinct animal area until some camp kids started screaming running past and into us. Climbing all over the exhibits and areas that were clearly posted do not climb or walk anywhere other then the path. The so called counselors were sitting at the beginning not... More

Thank you for this review. it clearly shows that I need to talk to all summer students. The Vanished Kingdom is there for your enjoyment and to hear our counselors were allowing such behavior is upsetting to me. I was thinking of hiring a few back but thanks to your review I know who won't be working here this year. More
