This zoo has certainly seen better days... but it is not expensive, and was still a good way to spend our afternoon. The lion is still shown on their map, but when we reached that area... we saw a sign telling us she passed away in 2014 and they were going to take this time to refurbish the lion enclosure... More

A lot disappointed with the experience. Didn't receive the maritime hospitality that I have come to know and love. The zoo lacks variety in animals. There is an animal graveyard of extinct animals, but not even a picture to show people what the animals were. Wouldn't recommend to other travelers. Boo to Cherry Brook Zoo.

Finding this place was a challenge, as it is not accessible in the park by car. I would have never found it without GPS. It is a really small zoo with a few random animals - there is no logic to the placement. The paths are not well marked and the enclosures do not look well kept. Animals look sad.... More

Wasn't expensive, like that it's in the woods made it feel a little more natural. Spent a good 2 hours but really took our time. Good for young children.

You'll find a limited array of animals here, but from my point of view, a small zoo is better than none at all. Children can get very close to the animals, even the big cats. Bring your own snacks. Choices at the canteen are limited.

I'm not a lover of caged animals on a good day, but my boyfriend and I took his daughter to visit the Cherry Brook Zoo. This place should be shut down and the animals given a decent life elsewhere. Tiny enclosures, run down grounds, and animals in distress. The poor solitary tiger paved back and forth, and whimpered the whole... More

The staff member at the entrance was very excited and went over the entire map with the kids, telling them all the names of the animals and explaining the best route to take though the park. Watch the steps on the way out of the gift shop into the zoo they are very slippery. Lots of rough trails, and hills,... More

Within city of Saint John, a big part of the Rockwood park, it's a great place to visit our exotic and endangered species such as a Siberian Tiger, Snow Leopard, Golden Lion Tamarin and Goeldi monkey. Mini-golf, souvenir store and oh, don't forget to visit the Forgotten Kingdom; extincted animals like the 10 foot tall and 1000 pound bird that... More

This was my first time in Saint John, so I wanted to make the most of it and visit some of their very few attractions. As you can appreciate it, it is still winter so we weren't looking for anything spectacular with crowds of people or anything. However, considering it was March Break in NB we thought they would have... More

This zoo does much to provide an uncrowded source of interest for the whole family. Close to parks and Uptown Saint John. 10 minutes by car from City Centre. Great value.
