I took a beginner class with Kim. She is a patient, thorough and knowledgeable teacher. I was able to choose my project and choose my glass with her expert help. She had all the tools and careful introduced each skill which set me up to succeed. So much fun!

Kim is wonderful! This class was so much fun. I came in to town via cruise ship and used a taxi to get to and from her studio (~$18-20USD each way... I dropped off in town on the way back so some slight variation). The studio is tidy and well organized and you can see her beautiful work on display.
Once you get started, you can pick from several variations of templates that are built for beginners but all look great! I chose the snail shell. She then let's you decide what colors you want to use and you begin. She's an excellent instructor, breaking down the terms used like "flux", "foil", and "solder" and explains how to measure the pieces and grind them to fit. Every step she let's you do the work, but is there to give helpful tips so you feel like a pro.
I am not much of a nature enthusiast and love having experiences when I travel that I can't get at home, so for a port of call like Saint John, this was the best experience I could have asked for! I would highly recommend and if I ever come back to Saint John would love to take another class.

Had a great time making my own stain glass piece. Kim is very helpful and fun! I had never done glasswork before so it was great that the experience was available for me and my friends. Would go again!

I went in thinking, this will be as successful as my painting forays. It was a million times better! Kim and I had a blast. Picking the pattern and glass to getting everything cut and pieced together, she was there every step of the way!!

We were a group of family and friends ages from 11 to 81, and we all had a fantastic time.
You really do it all, pick your glass, trace the pattern, cut the glass, grind the edges smooth, solder the pieces together, it was amazing. The time flew by and all of our creations were beautiful.

We ranged in age from 11-81 and we all had fun! Three hours flew by. Kim is so patient and perfect for guiding you through the process. It was an awesome experience for a multigenerational activity that everyone can work on together. Having a memory from the day to revisit is pretty neat too! I would highly recommend this experience.

Kim and her helper were both so amazing.
Kim was so patient and helped us along each step. We not only each made a beautiful glass piece but learned so much in the class. This was the best part of my entire cruise and I would do it again.

What a unique and memorable experience! Kim was so patient, knowledgeable, and charming. We came away with hand made ornaments and wonderful memories. If you want an excursion you won't forget, this is how to do it!
