Stopped to observe the cruise ships docked at the piers, amazing ships, so very big. Easy to get there and get out. Lots of passengers disembarking to explore the sights of St. John.

Hurricane Dorian had just made a "hit" here (although it was at a lower rating) but, once the 24+ hours of pounding rain and impressively heavy winds abated, we all came out of our holes (or cabins, we were cruising, after all) to be welcomed...More

Everything was very smooth to disembark and embark the ship. There is also a lengthy boardwalk and a farmers market right near the piers.

Walked around the port of Saint John today while seeing two cruise ships here today. Wonderful views and structures. There was also a bag piper playing which was really nice. I suggest anyone coming here when there are cruise ships.

Hello, Thank you for commenting on Bay Ferries service between Digby and Saint John. We will share your comment with them.

The port is located right downtown close to the inside mall and not far from local eateries. Certainly more convenient that many commercial ports.
