Now that the winter truly set in, it can be challenging to find a place to walk safely. Killarney Lake Park Trails are a great solution. The Wostawea ski club does a great job of grooming several km of wooded trails. Please don't step on...More

Been here many times since the ocean is 2hrs away. Nice to go to a place near home but needs tending. They need to clean it up and idk what can be done about the water but it’s gross. Would also be great to have...More

Very nice beach. The water is clean and lots of sand to make sand castles. Lifeguard on duty most of the time. Has changing rooms and is very relaxing.

For swimming, the lake is pretty nice. The beach is good and there's a side of the lake near the road that's less crowded, but has quite a lot of traffic noise. There are a couple of change rooms, a lifeguard, good parking, and lots...More

Killarney Lake is 15 minutes fro Frédericton and easily accessible with abundant parking. The beach is clean, the water is clear and warm (80F when we were there), there are lifeguards and a water conditions flag, a buoyed safety area and picnic tables. The lake...More

We live close to Killarney Lake and go there often. The trail around the lake is particularly picturesque, with a view of the water all the way round. There are lots of trails off the main one, as well. Slightly hilly, but an easy walk....More

The water was warm and clean. It was a treat to swim without a large crowd. The lake view is beautiful. Unsure if there are washrooms on site. The change rooms are useless because there's no interior light so the room becomes pitch black when...More

Shallow enough for the little ones. Pack your picnic and roast the hot dogs right at the park. The beach is clean, play ground on site and washrooms. A favourite summer spot!

Lovely place for a walk or swim, good for dogs too. If you're in the area it's worth the stop. Skating in winter too.

Our family loves to spend time at Killarney Lake. Whether it's to walk or swim, it's a great spot. Though it's a man-made lake, the views are spectacular and refreshing!

The area of the beach patrolled by lifeguards is off-limits for dogs, I believe. But there are lots of areas near the beach and along the lake and trails where you and your pooch could enjoy a walk, and even a swim... More

No. However if you take your dogs to the lower end away from the beach they can play in the water. By the wooden bridge on the walkway to the lodge.
