Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is the City’s traditional Saturday morning (6am-1pm) gathering spot downtown for fresh and healthy foods, craft, creativity and conversation. With more than 250 indoor and outdoor local suppliers from along the St. John River Heritage Corridor and across the Province, The Market (as it’s known here) is the place to discover seasonal products like fiddleheads and blueberries , ultra-fresh produce, including organics, meats & seafood, cakes & confections, breads, cheeses & homemade jams, fresh-squeezed juices & New Brunswick wines, artisan chocolates, specialty coffees & beans. Ethnic delicacies, from Chinese buns to Lebanese stuffed grape leaves and the City’s famous samosas, are also a big part of The Market tradition. A vibrant space with one-of-a-kind gifts, colourful and quirky, finds include pottery, jewellery, paintings, textiles and lawn sculptures. Breakfast is served up on site, either inside from the restaurant or outside in either of our two Food Alleys where it’s falafel sandwiches and buffalo burgers galore.

This is enough of a reason to visit Fredericton. The location serves as the meeting place for many and offers a wide variety of vendors and services. It is always exciting and never disappointing to go and sample some of the tastes of the world.

My husband and I just happened to be here in Fredericton last Saturday morning and we're able to stop at the Market to pick up some souvenirs and lunch as well! There are vendors here selling everything you could possibly imagine. Mostly all handmade and local made, which is awesome. The food vendors here have the best smelling stuff you... More

If you are visiting Fredericton and are here on Saturday please treat yourself and go to the Market. You can sit on the raised breakfast area and people watch while enjoying a delicious breakfast. Crafts and food specialities abound. The market extends from George Street to Brunswick Street which is a one way street.

If you're a fan of the market experience, you'll love the Fredericton Farmer's Market. Only open Saturdays until 1pm, you'll find your favourite seasonal veggies, fresh juices and coffee, and a whole bunch of food vendors offering up everything from a standard breakfast to homemade buffalo burgers to wood-fired pizza done up fresh on site.

You can't go wrong visiting the market while in the city. In fact, it should be mandatory! Food is delicious, and the crafts and products to buy make excellent, unique gifts. This is one of my favorite things to do in Fredericton.

This is a Farmers market that operates every Saturday mornings. Starts early and ends early in the afternoon. It is very crowded and parking can be difficult to find. Going early is recommended(7 am or so). Most vendors are local with local produce, products and crafts. Prices are not nescessarily low(a bit high) but at the end of the day... More

This place is jammed wall to wall with people and vendors. I love it! It's what a market should be Kama especially during produce season when all of the local organic farmers come with their bulk quantities of yummy yummy goodness. There's an excellent variety of food vendors, farmers, butchers and a couple of coffee people. Many very interesting artists... More

Favourite vendors are Warrington Farms, and the Greek food vendor closest to the road in the outdoor food vendor alley. Gathering place to meet many, social spot to hang with friends, grab some food, fresh local produce, meats, dairy. Leather, tapestries, woodworking, and so much more.

Fredericton Farmers Market has been our weekend destination for years! We love the atmosphere, which enjoyed by both locals and tourists! Although there are lots of famers markets elsewhere, but they seem to be getting less and less REAL farmers. But this one in Fredericton remains very authentic. Lots of local farmers sell their produce and meats, while artists selling... More
