A group of girl friends and I went to this club on a Friday night for ladies night and it didn't start getting lively until 11pm or so. The drinks were great and so was the DJ! I liked the live band but it was hard to dance to the music, but they only played until 11:30pm or so. They... More

The food is really great, though most customers are just there to drink and meet people. There are good drink specials earlier in the evening. Place is usually packed by 11pm. The music tends to be predictable and unfortunately is sometimes country. This place will be closing at the end of 2015, unfortunately.

Well. this place USED to be good Years ago, but now its a just a overcrowded, i do not know how the owner manages not to get a fine for over capacity. Nothing like trying to walk around in a bar and worrying whether you will spill your drink, lefting high above your head, because of the over crowding. The... More

My boyfriend and I (23 and 20 respectively) traveled to Winnipeg from North Dakota so I was able to experience some night life over spring break. We had been referred to the palomino from a few friends and locals. The bar seemed run down and dirty and the bouncers insisted that my boyfriend and myself had fake IDs and that... More

I recently spent some time visiting Winnipeg and after talking with several of the locals decided to try out the "famous” Palomino. I was assured it was a great time every time and decided to try it out on a Saturday night. When we pulled up it was clear that there were several people waiting to get in which was... More

The PAL is not for everyone. But it is a good time, come with a fun attitude and ready to drink. The music is good, live and loud, the space is moving and the people are friendly. Its frequented by almost every age range from 18-80. This place is often frequented by "regulars" and over all a great place to... More

I recently attended a "Bud & Spud" fundraiser night at the Palomino Club, who host these apparently "world famous" evenings. For $15 tickets, all we were left with was a sour taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively. When you first enter the club you are FORCED, yes FORCED to check your coat. You don't want to check your... More
