Beautiful park to walk in. We walked the grounds and around the duck pond, but went to see specifically to see the English gardens which are spectacular. Great, free attraction. Allow a couple hours to do the gardens justice and great for pictures.

There is so much to do at Assiniboine Park. On this visit we had lunch in the courtyard at The Park Cafe and then enjoyed both The English Gardens and Leo Mol Sculpture Gardens. The gardens have been beautiful all season but are especially lovely with the addition of fall mums.

Great place to walk, bike or jog. I like walking my dog there. Huge park, gorgeous flowers. Definitely check it out.

Nice urban park with an abundance of green spaces, well-marked walk paths, and even a children's playground. Always good for a nice stroll but insects do come out in droves at sundown during the summer months, making for a bit of an inconvenient experience.

The sculpture garden is really nice. Otherwise, mostly grassy and open. Unfortunately, very limited shade and not very extensive trails. Decent enough but nothing special.

The upgrades that they have made to the zoo over the past 20 years are wonderful. It is a really nice zoo to visit. The "Journey to Churchill" part is fabulous and if you're lucky you'll get to see polar bears swimming above or next to you.

Polar bear exhibit is amazing. Being able to walk underneath there in exhibit pool and experience a lumbering 400 pound predator gracefully swimming was stunning.

Assiniboine Park is a beautiful place within Winnipeg that makes the city seem a little less daunting! It's a great place to walk around, or drive around in the winter!

Small conservatory but well displayed. Statues from Leo Moi very interesting especially if you go into the museum and see the wax castings and watch the movie on history of Mr. Moi and the statues. Would recommend for a relaxing visit. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the benches in the gardens.

Assiniboine park is full of colorful plants , flowers and shrubs . There is a play ground called the nature park , where kids (and adults ) can have fun . The wide open space is the best place to relax !
