Yes, it's pretty, no, you do not walk there because of the bears, but if you want to do it in a car, fine. Polar bears are very, very good at hiding in the willows or the rocks, and you are prey.

Yes, there's a beach in Churchill, although swimming is not recommended. But it's the only place where you're going to get close to salt water without going to B.C. or Nova Scotia! Be sure to get your picture taken by massive inukshuck and the Enterprise...More

First thing, you need to be very careful about getting out of your car to walk around in the area around Churchill. If you are just a couple people, don't do it. We had 8 people and were pretty noisy. That is what I know...More
