The road that goes behind the town of Churchill and fronts the Hudson Bay should be part of a northern experience. It has a restored ship and an Inukshuk along your way. The rocks are impressive and a seashore wave sound and feel are unbeatable,...More

It's beautiful, this walk. There are polar bear warning signs there for a reason. Apparently the polar bears live in the hollows between the flat rocks near shore. I didn't see any, thank goodness, as I didn't have a vehicle with me, but from the...More

Nice area to come to and have your photo taken near the "bear sign" or stone inuck, shipwreck. When we went the snow blizzard came down, which was nice to see. Didnt see any bears here. But they just appear around Churchill at any time.

We took this road on a day trip around town with our guide Paul. He spotted bear here and we got some beautiful pictures of bear shaking water along with picturesque background.

We rented a truck and drove up and down this road. Lots of stops (vistas, plane wreck, ship wreck). This seems to be a good place to see bears - saw one near the ship wreck and 3 near the town. There is also a...More

We took this road during our day trip of Churchill and were fortunate enough to see bears up close. However, as everyone has mentioned, do not venture out alone, there are many bears around.

We saw our first bears here about 20 minutes after landing at the airport. At the end of the street from our motel there is a large inushuk - a traditional "sculpture" made from piled rocks to resemble a person - and a boat. We...More
