Rover

The nicer polar rovers and excellent drivers. We had a very good time and saw many bears. The rover seats were good, the food was fine and the bathroom worked.

Wildlife viewing always involves a risk you will not see anything. However, it was clear that GWB tours had opened their tours a week or so too early. We saw nothing on the weekend of 8/9 October. We know from those that went out on other tours on that same weekend that no-one saw any bears. We also know, from... More

Natural Habitat Photography tour. Stayed at Tundra Lodge. Incredible. Polar bears looking in the window of the lodge. bears coming up to the Rover transportation. Guides so knowledgeable and friendly. Food perfect. Highly recommended even though you will sleep in a "railway carriage like bunk."

Great White Bear Tours provided the shuttle bus and tundra rover as part of a Natural Habitat adventure. Lyndsey the shuttle bus driver and Bill the rover driver ensured we were warm and both provide exemplary service contribution to a fantastic holiday - lots of bears too.

Churchill Nature Tours (special thanks to Thuraya) did a fabulous job of finding us space on A Great White Bear Tours on short notice. This trip was on my bucket list and I still can't believe we were really there, with the bears in their natural habitat. Our drivers, Derek and Stewart, a well as our guides, Pat and Steve,... More

I travelled on the Great White Bear Polar Rover during a Natural Habitat Adventure Holiday in Churchill. The vehicles were excellent, comfortable, spacious and warm (inside). Having only 15 guests on the vehicle made it possible for everyone to have a window seat and to be able to see the bears. Packed lunches were provided by the Natural Habitat staff... More

We toured with NAT HAB 11/11-11/14 Fred was the great guide but really Arnar was truly amazing. The Polar Rover was spotless and comfortable, are you sure it's 20 years old....Arnar takes great care with everything. From how he drives, the food he serves and the interesting stories he shares. He was a gem on our trip. I also appreciate... More

I had the opportunity to book a Tundra Lodge Adventure. It was spectacular with lots of bear sitings and a marvelous aurora display. While a wildlife adventure never comes with a guarantee, our guides made sure we had the best opportunities possible to see and experience unparalleled nature viewing. Full marks Great White Bear Tours and Tundra Lodge!!!

We booked our tour through Natural Habitat and were driven around the area in a Great White Bear Tours bus and on the tundra in a GWBT Polar Rover. Our days and one night were November 1,2&3. The bus driver - Dan - was so helpful and friendly. Our Rover driver- Arnr- was great too as he helped our NatHab... More

This was a great tour. Their vehicles are way more comfortable than the tundra buggies. They are also 6 wheel drive versus the 4 wheel drive of the TBs. Also their guides appreciate the polar bears versus making you feel like you are solely responsible for global warming. Go with this company. They are the Cadillac of the tundra
