This little town is not so little any more. So much highrise construction and lots of busy people. Good choice of restaurants.

There are so many things you can do when you are in White Rock. You can walk the Promenade, or out the pier. There is plenty of parking and restaurants and galleries.

The parking is expensive, many restaurants are closed, but it’s a glorious day at the beach. Walk the promenade, no smoking or dogs allowed, or walk the beach, if the tide is out, you can walk almost a 1/2 mile out to the ocean’s edge....More

So glad you enjoyed your visit to White Rock. We have seen a number of restaurants close over the past little while, but happily we've also seen some new openings! And good news, there's a movement afoot to welcome dogs back to the promenade!

Hi there! Yes ... the Visitor Centre is permanently closed (and we've been trying to have the address removed). At present we have an amazing "street team" of visitor counsellors/ambassadors who are roaming the community answering questions and helping to direct visitors.
