The Museum is small one of its kind, right on the White Rock beach, very easy to access and provide the information about the pioneer Settlement with crab and oyster catching job and the railway station buil from the beginning of 20th century (1906) connect USA with Canada. There is a projector with touch technology that excite the kids. The... More

We were already in white Rock and this is located by the promenade by the pier. So we went in and it is basically one small room with hardly anything in it ,it is free so that is a plus but we really learned vey little about Whit Rock history .Disappointing but free is free .about 15 minutes is all... This small museum keeps the legacy of the AK Canning Association alive. The volunteer staff is very friendly. Definitely take the time to watch the film: it gives a good history with interviews and pictures from the canning industry's 19th century roots until its demise in the 1960s. As you walk the area now, so quiet and tourist-friendly, it's wild... More

This is a neet little museum, however it's worth the experience. Located near the boardwalk & restaurants, please go to see the historic items for viewing.

We live in the area, and in fact can walk to this little museum, which was the original train depot for White Rock way back when. It is small, but easy to spend quite a long time in and we like to go back. No entry fee. It's free. (Interesting trivia: the exteriors of this museum plus all of White... More

It's not some place that I would go just to see the museum but it's a great little stop as you check out all the places White Rock Beach has to offer - lots of great restaurants, souvenior shops, the beach , go for a walk along the promenade and the along the pier.

This is a great little museum along White Rock's beachfront. A fully-restored train station from the days of White Rock's early days, it was the focal point of the community and the driving force behind the city's growth. The museum group are largely volunteers and are so knowledgable and helpful. Their displays keep changing throughout the year so multiple time... More

White Rock's former train station is now a museum and has been updated to create a museum and rotating display. There isn't much there, but if a windy and rainy day and the promenade looks a little foreboding, drop in and check it out for 15-20 minutes. Small charge to go in.

The museum is a very interesting and informative exhibit. While in White Rock take time to also visit the pier, the promenade and the numerous stores and restaurants along Marine Drive. Be aware that the railway tracks are active with Amtrak traffic, keep mindful of young children. During the summer months public parking is at a premium, and almost non-existent.
