January visit - my first trip to ski on powder snow, the Alps and Pyrenees may have to take a back seat in the future. Excellent chair lift and gondola system and mountain 'hosts' to pick up the fallen. Pistes, sorry trails, need clearer markings though, perhaps the European system where pistes are numbered along their length. It was easy... More

We last visited Whistler 15 years ago - and it's still got all the charm but now has modernised lifts and even less queues! Arthurs choice is a 'must do'' signature black gladed run on Blackcomb, as is the Olympic downhill run on Whistler

This was our first winter ski trip to Whistle Blackcomb ski mountain but we have been here several times in the summer for mountain biking and hiking. It's amazing how long the runs are. It took me 45 minutes to get down the green runs fro the top of Symphony Bowl!! Our runs were well groomed and the snow was... More

This was my 8th time to Whistler for snowboarding, and it still remains as the best snow resort I have ever visited. The views, the snow, the mountains, The Village--everything is first rate and classy, yet still retains that cozy and comfortable charm that it had when I first came here 12 years ago. As a snow enthusiast, you owe... More

One of the most amazing locations in Canada to ski, board and just spend time outdoors. Looking forward to my next trip to Whistler Mountain, winter or summer.

This place is huge. Even being used to the linked resorts in Europe, this place is mammoth. The ski pass was really good value, we were concerned about lift wait time having read some reviews, but these really weren't an issue, even when snow \ low cloud closed the back bowls. Ski academy for kids is great, ours was really... More

Well, since I live here, I may be a little biased. But in winter we have world class skiing, and in summer, biking, hiking, golf and many other options equate to an all season resort!

Whistler and Blackcomb mountains are incredible for skiing during the long snow season in Canada the mountains are well groomed and are long with many options. Whistler mountain is great for learners and has many good runs for beginners and advanced skiers. Blackcomb mountain has many awesome runs however is more oriented towards Blue and Black runs. My favorite is... More

I went snowboarding at Blackcomb rather that Whistler purely because it was at the back door of the hotel (Fairmont Chateau Whistler - see previous review). It was brilliant, snow was excellent and the instructor was worth every cent as I had never been snowboarding before. At 64 my son convinced me to give it a go. No more skis... More
