I live in Vancouver. I come up to Whistler regularly. Everybody in the world knows about the skiing in the winter. Snow conditions can be variable. But with two mountains and tons of runs and lifts, you can find any type of skiing or snowboarding that strikes your fancy. I actually prefer the summers. The weather is great. Lots of... More

We booked a day tour to Whistler from Vancouver. A bus picked us up from our hotel and took us to the train station to catch the Rocky Mountaineer to Whistler. As we had our breakfast, the train slowly wound its way along the coast and up into the mountains. The scenery was stunningly beautiful and there was the added... More

Teaching my Colombian husband to ski....lots of options for all levels (and ages). Facilities are well-suited if you want to have private ski school lessons or do it on your own.

What a beautiful mountain. So much to offer and hiking etc . Wildlife in early spring comes alive at the base and below watch out for our furry friends who are active right now .

I went to whistler blackcomb with a number of friends (all who were much more skilled at skiing than me) and while the village was amazing, the views were stunning, the mountains were gorgeous and the people were incredibly friendly, I found the slopes very difficult. There was one beginner slope to learn on (Olympic station) that was very short... More

We went in spring so the skiing was limited - although still available on the heights. Still so much to see and do there - the upper and lower villages have a fantastic range of shops and eateries. The seaplane flights out over Whistler Blackcomb was very beautiful. I also recommend you include a visit to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural... More

If you ever visiting Vancouver, Canada then you must visit Whistler Olympic Park. The day when I visited Whistler was a sunny day and took a Gondola ride up to the top of the peak where the Olympic Park is located. I was told that the temp. up on the peak was 1C but when I got up to the... More

Our trip to Whistler was probably the most enjoyable and action packed family vacation we have ever been on. The scenery and conditions are breathtaking, along with the enormity of the resort. It's like skiing on the moon. A little known fact is that Whistler/Blackcomb has the lowest elevation of any major ski resort in North America. Our youngest son... More

Road on the Blackcomb Gandola to the the Roundhouse Lodge amazing!!! The mountain majestic brought me to tears. Spent several hours there had coffee from the coffee bar, and lunch both were great. This was a wonderful experience we have to return several times and even then I don't think we will have gone enough. So much to do in... More
