Whistler is like no place else on earth for outdoor junkies. Bike, hike, camp, party; whatever your fancy, Whistler delivers in spades. The bike park is legendary, but so are all of the local trails; if you ride bikes, you already know. Packed with the widest variety of tourists, outdoor lovers, and Winter/Summer locals, it's got to be experienced to... More

Thought we would only need a couple of hours for this trip, but we spent the whole day on the mountain saying "Wow, look at that." Plenty of well signed hikes for walkers of all standards and some daredevil cycling for those with no fear. If you enjoy marvelling at the work of the Almighty, Whistler-Blackcomb is definitely marvellous.

We went in August from Vancouver using the EpicRides coach company. You can book online but we booked in person at the Vancouver Tourist Office near the waterfront (opposite Canada Place). Tickets per person were a very reasonable $35 per person return. The journey time is 2 hours. I rate EpicRides 5 stars for their timekeeping and also for the... More

We've never skied down Whistler or Blackcomb mountains, but we have hiked all over them in the summer months. Both have fun hikes for hikers of all skill levels with beautiful views throughout. Everybody needs to get to the top of the mountains.

We hiked the High-note trail for the second time this summer. Such a beautiful, scenic hike that is easy to moderate. Not much elevation gain or loss overall. Variation of rock scramble, meadow and forest. The wild flowers are beautiful and the 360 mountain views are breath taking. You feel like your walking in a post card.

Whistler Blackcomb was an adventure! I loved everything about these mountains from the various terrain options to all the activity that is available at the base of the mountains- Whistler especially. Whistler Blackcomb has it all- from several different dining options, shopping, pubs and free transportation between the mountains. The base area/surrounding town is so large and there is so... Awesome biking from the Peak at Whistler. Well worth the add-on but not for the beginner or faint of heart!

We have never been skiing before and so didn't know what to expect. The whole area is beautiful, from the snow capped mountain and huge pine trees to lovely whistler village with its bars, restaurants and shops. There's even a cinema and skate rink. We loved this place and can't wait to go back. Would love to experience it in... More

The best way for skiing and mountain biking is to go to whistler blackcomb for the day or week and soak up the best of times.
