A nice taproom with fair pub grub

This tap.room is in a bus garage in Function Junction, Whistlers light industrial area. They make some very good ales. Food is just OK and pricey. Good brews and a lot of... read more

Love this place. It was packed on the long weekend. The interior was renovated from my last visit. Nice lay out. When it's busy it's tuff to get fast service. So be patient it's well worth the wait. Did two flights to sample all the beers. That made it fun! Only 10$ for a flight. Had hot salty pretzel with... More

It was after 4.00 pm so ideal for a beer. And what better way than to combine it with a tour of the small brewery at Function Junction. Fun spiel by the guide and a taste of four beers. Great time was had by all. Recommended.

Due to the beer festival and my booking many months ahead, what should have been a group tour ended up a private tour. We had a great time. My husband and I were picked up at our hotel in Creekside, which was great. We stopped at several breweries and there are many samples to be had!

We almost walked out of here without even trying the beers, the service is that terrible. The people working their were rude and unhelpful. When we eventually got a 4 beer flight to try, we discovered some rather mediocre beers, with only the IPA standing out with any character. Maybe we were just too bitter about the service. We wouldn't... More

Maybe it's the fact that anything tastes good after a day on the slopes, or that visitors will drink any swill put in front of them so long as it's cold and bubbly, but amonst all the things that Whistler's got going for it, a good beer culture is NOT one of them. The Whistler Brewing Company is fighting the... More

We came with a group of friends for a beer and a bite. The bar staff told us it would be an hour wait for food because everyone was ordering wraps and each wrap takes 10 minutes to make. I'm sorry but if your cook takes 10 minutes to make 1 wrap, you need to find a new cook. It... More

The beers are not bad and the food was well prepared and tasty. One of our party is allergic to eggs, we asked if their coating on the calamari had eggs. Our very helpful server went and checked an sure enough it had an egg wash before dipping. Chef offered to made up a beer batter for us, I have... More

Don't go for the service (below average). Certainly don't go for the food (microwaved ready-to-serve). If you feel you have to make the effort to drive to Function Junction to the brewery, then just enjoy their beer, which is great. Better yet, find a great restaurant in the Village with good food & good service that serves Whistler Brewing Co.... More

We stopped here after a hike for drinks and a snack. The atmosphere was fun and the drinks were good (and inexpensive); however, the nachos left a lot to be desired. They were small, with limited toppings and for $18, we expected more.
