The lake is just beautiful. If you have dogs, go to the pet beach (just google it) as the other beaches do not allow pets. The place is quiet and peaceful.

Walking paths for all types of hikers. You can plan for a 4 hour hike that gives you a workout with big elevation changes. Stop and rest at benches perfectly placed at great vistas of the lake and valley.

This lake is the perfect day trip for a family, couple, or group of friends. It’s so beautiful, and there’s a walking path alongside it with tons of options for somewhere to set up towels and go for a swim.
