About
Growing food & family memories since 1933! At Davison Orchards, you get fresh, local produce grown right here in Vernon, BC. And we don't just grow it - we use the ingredients in our bakery and cafe to make the most delicious farm food you've ever tasted. Everything we grow is available to you right here on the farm. We invite you to be part of the story of your food from start to finish. You can see the crops growing, the fruit being picked, and the apples being peeled for our famous apple pie. Because our family has been running this farm for over 80 years, we want your whole family to enjoy their time here. There is something for everyone and we hope you'll make your own happy memories and traditions. Davison Orchards is open daily, from May 1 - October 31.

We are local and visit Davison at least once per month that they are open. We love picking up a jug of fresh squeezed apple juice or eating at the little cafe. I prefer to visit without the kids because they always want to stay and play.

Our kids grew up in Vernon, going to Davison Orchards. We’re so happy that our out of town grandchildren also have grown to know this wonderful Vernon landmark. The little cafe serves delicious food, so we make sure we stop for something to eat while we are there. There is a lot to see for people of all ages. The owners have taken great care to adapt to covid protection for staff and visitors. We recently brought a group of friends from out of town and they loved it there. I buy the frozen pie dough and use it all winter long. It’s fabulous and so convenient.

A beautiful Mountain location. Allow time for eating, buying produce and Baked goods and touring the animals. The Cafe food was delicious and the view down over the town was spectacular. The Shop sells amazing and unusual merchandise. I stocked up on the Jams, rare flavours and some bottled Cherry/Apple drinks which the children in the family love. As do the adults. Great Gifts too.

Went to Davison Orchards twice - once in August and again in September when I took an out of town guest there. In August I took the tour of the orchard and it was fantastic. During the tour, the driver stopped 2-3 times and provided a history of the orchard and talked about the various fruits and vegetables they grow. In September, the trip was the exact opposite as the driver only stopped once so we could pick an apple. The only information he provided was to answer questions. I was so disappointed. At the end I asked about the 2nd stop and was told they don't do a second stop when it was apple picking season. I couldn't understand this as we didn't pass anyone picking apples and there were only 3 carts with guests in behind the tractor. As I paid the same $8 fee for the tractor tour both visits I basically feel like I paid $8 for an apple during my September visit. Was very disappointed considering the earlier visit was great.

It is sad how far downhill this place has gone since Tom took over. When Bob ran it, it was a caring,, fun and kind place to go. But Tom worships the almighty dollar. He has even charged a baby in a snuggly a

First visit here. A really cool combination of orchard, country store, fresh produce store, mini-farm for children and cafe. Just up the hill from "Planet Bee", another great store. Was very busy on the Sunday we passed through, and a bit difficult to "social distance", but staff did their best to limit admittance to the indoor areas. There were many neat preserve items we wanted to get, but were limited by flight baggage space & weight. Will be back for more when we drive to the Okanagan.

There was so much attention to detail with this idyllic location. Everything was tidy, and steeped in cuteness. The entire building/farm/orchard setup faces a majestic view of the lake and mountains. The staff are VERY friendly, and the grounds immaculately kept. I could have sat there for hours watching the butterflies and birds go by, listening to cheerful families, and the breeze in the many trees. I also enjoyed an absolutely life-changing sandwich from their cafe, which came with a wee container of tasty apple sauce!

I go to Davison Orchards often for the beauty, peace, food, people. I go alone or better yet, with Omy grandchildren. I live in Vernon and consider this one of our best attractions and one of my favorite places here in the Okanagan

The shop prices are a little steep but many of the items sold are made in house. Probably the best pies you can buy. Lots of fun free activities for the kids like feeding the goats, and some cool play areas.

Lovely little stop to explore. Interesting finds in the gift shop and yummy food to buy. Live goats will put a performance on for you, when you feed them. A fun stop to get out and stretch your legs

Hi,
We will be holding our semi annual trade show in September and are interested in having an "entertainment night" for our guests (approx 100 people). We'd be interested in doing some thing in the evening (approx 7:30 or so) however, I fear that everything is closed down by then.
Anything you could assist with would be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Maria;
I think O'Keefe Ranch is something you will not regret. If you get them to srve you dinner, try to get Ken ? the now retired curator to tell your group some of the history of the ranch. He is very good and everybody will enjoy him, even the city slickers.
Vernon area also has world class well-being spa Sparkling Hill, but that is a little different genre. You could always phone them.
Good luck. I know you wll have a good time in Vernon.

We do allow dogs at our farm as long as they are on a leash, just not in our market or in the cafe/on the patio. Hope that helps!
