Captain Steve had just set the first line in the water and before he could set the second one, we had a chinook in the boat!
It was a fun day on the water as all 5 of my students (beginners, yet aspiring fishermen) were able to pull fish out of the water on their first day!
They all went home happy with a camera pic of them holding their prize.
The captain was very organized and clear in his instructions which helped them learn a lot during our trip. The boat was in excellent shape, had high-quality gear, and a navigator who took us directly to the fish in minutes!
Thanks for a memorable day on the water where they got some hands-on experience.

I went fishing with Steve off the Westcoast of Vancouver Island. The boat was large and comfortable. Steve was a knowledgeable guide, and lots of fun. We caught salmon, halibut and a lingcod. He brought salt ice and took really good care of the fish we caught. I was really happy to have a clean washroom on board ! Steve had a satellite radio and played great music, but he also kept me entertained with lots of stories; lots of laughs and he got just as excited as I did when we hooked into fish. This fishing trip absolutely exceeded all my expectations - I highly recommend Ocean Rambler !

Spent a gorgeous day out on the water catching salmon and crabbing. Had the best charter boat captain you could ask for. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about which areas were good fishing at the time we went, great sense of humor and very personable. We can’t say enough about Captain Steve, he just made our first fishing charter experience unforgettable. Thank you Captain Steve of Ocean Rambler Fishing Adventures.

Captain Steve was professional, organized, fun and he found the fish quickly. We were limited out before noon and had a blast reeling in fish after fish. If you want to catch fish then book a charter with Steve right now with the Ocean Rambler. Steve has all his gear organized and ready to go and his boat is comfortable with lots of room and it slays fish. This was my best fishing trip yet and we booked another charter in August this year. Thanks for a great trip, let's do it again Steve, I can't wait!!

We had an outstanding family/birthday trip for my husband. Captain Steve knew exactly where to go and we came home with a cooler absolutely stuffed full of Chinook. The Ocean Rambler is well-equipped and comfortable for a west coast fishing adventure. We are already planning our next trip!

This was the best fishing experience ever with lots of laughs and fish to last awhile! (We will definetly make this an annual event)
Catching fish with Steve, was like ordering fish off the menu...He asked what we wanted to catch and then delivered. 😁👍

We had a 4 hr rock fishing trip with Steve out of Ucluelet.
Steve took great care of us- especially the rookie fishers. His vast experience, knowledge of the area and great fishing stories added to the wonderful trip. We pulled in more fish than we expected. His beautiful filleting job lead to fantastic fish tacos!
We would highly recommend him!

We had a fantastic trip. Tons of fun and came home with our limit. Double header after double header. What a great experience. I highly recommend Captain Steve and the Ocean Rambler for your next fishing trip.

We booked a weekend charter out of Uclulet for the second year in a row, and Captain Steve did. not disappoint. We limited out every day of our charter, and had a great time doing it. Captain Steve is friendly, knowledgable, and maintains a clean and safe boat. We look forward to next summer's fishing adventure!

We had a wonderful trip to Boarder Bank to blow away the Christmas cobwebs. Steve put us straight on the fish to begin four hours of back to back action. Great sport, fantastic fish and a really good fun day. In the end we had 30 odd fish, with a couple of beauties for supper! Delicious.
Can’t wait for the opportunity for another expedition in 2020. Thanks Steve for all your expert, professional advice and good company.
