Truth be told, I wandered onto St. Ann's property by mistake, and it's amazing that a National Historical Site, in downtown Victoria on over 6 acres of space, is so well-hidden. Walk the grounds for free, tour the building by donation. A MUST-SEE EXPERIENCE.

The main floor of St. Ann's is open to the public. It has a beautiful chapel, history about the nuns and the school, and some rooms are set up like they would have been in the past. The grounds are also beautiful.

Nestled north of Beacon Hill Park and about a block southeast of the Empress, this institution is easily missed. One of the original sites of Victoria, dating back to the mid-1800's. I had the opportunity to visit the chapel, said to date back 150 years....More

Recommend to everyone come and take a stroll through & around the grounds of this historic site. Located close to Beacon Hill park, it's a great location for a casual picnic if they are in season, pick a few apples from the fruit trees!

This was a quick stop for us on our travel itinerary. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept and we had a nice time walking around them. The chapel and school area are beautiful and it's worth peeking into the church. The school is a little...More
