Great little attraction and relatively inexpensive. Wonderful patient guide who was very knowledgable and great with the kids. Unlike a regular zoo it's neither a huge investment of time and money, nor outside, so it's a good quick diversion, especially on a rainy day. If you hate bugs or have wild children who won't appreciate small creatures in glass tanks,... More

It's really interactive. The guides are really knowledgeable. The bugs are cool/gross depending on your take. Holding them is an option to the brave hearted.

We enjoyed this. The 3 and 5 year did not appreciate the quality of the two docents. The docents talk more to the adults than the children. A good quality bug museum with good information. But information more for older children.

We weren't planning on going into the Bug Zoo but kids saw the sign and wanted to go in. What a pleasant surprise! they had a great time, and it was very informative. They even held some bugs (me too... ) only adults get to hold the tarantula though :)

My ten year old son loved the place and would have spent hours there but my other kids were done in ten minutes. The people who work there are very enthusiastic about the bugs which is great.

Let me start by saying, if you absolutely hate bugs and have no interest learning about them please don't come here and post a bad review. That said, WOW, just wow. We had some time to kill one morning during our week in Victoria and figured we'd take the kids (5 & 8) by and I must say I was... More

Not a big museum, but fun and big enough for the kids. The people working there had lots of knowledge. Fun to hold the insects.

We took our grandson there. What a great place! It is not big but, heck, bugs aren't big. Also they tend to show the most interesting ones. There are two guides doing tours which are basically constant. They are highly knowledgeable. You can hold some of the bugs like cockroaches and centipedes. My five year old grandson started to lose... More

Enjoyed all the bugs. You actually get to handle some of them. Spiders, big cockroaches and many other bugs. My son loved it.
