This is a one-of-a-kind attraction that I recommend highly. Big bugs and little bugs all get attention here. There is an enormous ant farm that spans a couple of rooms and it’s fascinating to watch them. You can hold many of the bugs. Kids of...More

As others have said this is a mini zoo, being just two small rooms. On first glance it is a bit underwhelming, but so long as you engage in the tour and embrace the hands on experiences, it’s definitely worth the entry fee.

Small attraction. They will let you hold the bugs. The staff were kind and understanding. They loved to share information about bugs. The highlight for me is when the employees eyes lit up as he spoke of the history of a particular spider.

If you are interested in nature, bugs, science, biology, etc. you will like this place. If you just want to be freaked out or weird-ed out or amazed by crazy bugs you may be disappointed. The Bug Zoo has a black widow, a brown recluse,...More

We went to the Bug Zoo as part of a cruise tour. Needless to say that my 7 year old loved it! Kids and adult alike are able to hold many types of insects, also spiders. Staff was very knowledgeable and courteous.

I took my son (3) here and was relatively underwhelmed. It started off with Kevin, the tour guide, talking about the praying mantis which he was allowing people to hold. He said anyone wanting to hold it, put out your hand. My son was nervous...More

This was a fun stop in Victoria. It’s only 2 rooms but they were packed with all kinds of creepy crawlers. There was a staff person who was very knowledgeable and patient with all the little ones. She let folks hold the HUGE millipede which...More

I believe it was $10 per person. Although at first that may seem high it really was worth it. Make sure that you get engaged in the tour.
