We wanted to take a tour and so we called and always got an answering machine. It took them 2 days to call back, just to learn that they were booked and could take us in the day that we were leaving. Either plan ahead and take the risk of doing a sidecar visit under the rain or hopeto get lucky and that they will answer promptly and and be able to accomodate you.…

Pierre-Sylvie thanks for that feedback. Our first negative review in our four years of operation. No deception involved. Our cell carrier was notified of our inability to access several booking messages while out of country, but unfortunately too late as we did not get your inquiry even though you were given the opportunity to leave booking messages. Sorry you were let down. Join us another time for a 50% saving. Thanks again Sidecar Vic

I am always on the look out for a novel way to tour an area. I was impressed with the reviews of Sidecar Victoria and emailed them for more information. There followed a very pleasant interaction from the initial email to the actual tour. What a wonderful way to spend the day. I have never been on a motorcycle or in a sidecar but as soon as Kevin, our guide, showed up and began telling us about the planned day, I was at ease and enthusiastic. The bike's sidecar was surprisingly comfortable and with the provided blanket and jacket was toasty warm too. We took a ferry to Salt Spring Island and slowly toured the island letting the wind rush by us and listened to the sounds of nature.......birds, ocean waves, and rustling leaves. A stop at a cheese factory and a cider house rounded out the trip. …

What a great day! From beginning to end, we had a wonderful time with Kevin. He was very happy to customise the trip to our needs. We toured all over the area chatting while driving which was great. He was full of interesting information. We felt completely safe in his hands and were very happy to go where he took us. Very friendly and careful driver who loves to share the beauty of his city. Highly recommended. …

We visited Victoria on a cruise ship in the evening. Since the sun would be setting, we wanted to see Victoria in both daylight and nightlight. This tour was a delightful way to see Victoria. We were met by our driver Dave at the Breakwater Cafe which was near the end of the pier. The sidecar only holds one person, so I chose the sidecar and let my husband ride on the back of the motorcycle behind Dave. The cycle was well set up with two grab bars so that my husband did not have to hold on to Dave! Warning, as the evening progressed it did get quite chilly. Dave had a blanket for the sidecar (nice), but my husband got quite cold with no gloves and a light jacket. I would suggest to anyone touring in the evening to bring gloves. We visited in September so keep that in mind. The tour was perfectly timed out to see the sights at the best sunlight. We arrived at the most panoramic sight at just the right sunset. Dave gave us information about the stops, but while we were riding, it was difficult to talk. I am so glad we chose this tour as a great way to see everything up close. …

Dave says a big thank you and we do too. We got caught on one of the first days of our shoulder season when the evenings are cooling off. If you come touring with us again we will have electric vests for you to plug in and keep toasty, along with some gloves for you both to wear. Thanks a bunch
