The Steamship Terminal building on Victoria's Inner Harbour is steeped in Victoria's maritime history. Passengers from steamships walked through its doors in the 19th and 20th centuries. This recently renovated heritage landmark houses The Robert Bateman Centre - a gallery, interactive centre and shop dedicated to the legacy of renowned naturist painter Robert Bateman.

The Empress Hotel, the Provincial Legislature and this building (all designed by Francis Rattenbury) dominate Victoria's Inner Harbour. The Steamship Terminal itself is free to look at but it also houses an art museum, restaurant and coffee shop. In the summer of 2017, a new luxury ferry can take you from here to downtown Vancouver if that is your wish.... More

Nice new terminal in the heart of the Inner Harbour of Victoria. Part of any essential walking tour of Victoria. Also where you catch the Coho Ferry.

We were staying at the grand Pacific and this is just across the road so convenience wise was excellent. We'd travelled over from Vancouver and after unpacking with a toddler just wanted an easy quick meal. I ordered the shrimp and chicken green curry and my husband had the seafood linguine. Both were very tasty and the plates were empty.... More

We went to the Steamship Terminal when we were in Victoria. The Steamship Terminal is a beautiful building in the Inner Harbour Area of Victoria, BC. There is an art gallery, restaurant and a Starbucks. The building was designed by architect Francis Rattenbury with assistance from Percy James. It was built in 1924. It has been recently renovated.

This is lovely artistic structure located on the Inner Harbour. It houses a restaurant / Starbucks/ Robert Bateman art gallery. It really highlights & enhances the waterfront skyline. Remember the "old Wax Museum" was located here!!

The large building includes a restaurant, Robert Bateman art gallery & Starbucks. Haven't tried the Starbucks but there are many possibly better choices for food in Victoria.

We went for brunch, however, they do not serve breakfast type meals, so was disappointed, as we were looking for brunch meal. The food was good and the cocktails were good.

Fish, chips and slaw were a disappointment. Limited menu for those that don't like sea food (my teenagers). Service was decent, but I was overcharged on my bill. The waitress did correct it and then comped our dessert. The local beer on tap was good!

On a cool but dry September evening the outside patio area has plenty of heaters and blankets if needed. Efficient friendly service, good range of food which my wife enjoyed but I was not happy with my rissotto as it appeared to be made with cous cous. Not a GF option as thought. Great view of inner harbour and the... More
