Lots to see in this small area. Just love it! Plenty of washrooms and plenty of places to have a bite to eat. Very walkable from the Inner Harbour. Blue Heron spotted on my visit.

I have visited Victoria a couple of times, but this was my first time to Fisherman's Wharf. We walked from the Empress Hotel, which is a nice, about 1,5 km walk. We enjoyed checking out many different boat houses. We took a water taxi back...More

This is a small space with a moderate number of restaurants none of which offer indoor table service. Everything is a counter with outside seating. It is interesting to see the residences along the pier

Very touristy but fun to see the houses on the water. I didn't find it that much fun but it was nice walking there from the Inner Harbour

A really fun place to see. Imagine viewing these unusual homes on the water. Food and shopping. Fun music. A nice way to spend an hour or so.

We only walked a portion of the wharf, but we could see how the locals live. It goes all the way to the inner harbor. Great for strolls, jogging, or just taking it easy.

This was a quick stop on our Fresh Air Tours tour of the city. I wanted to see the floating houses and this was a fun little shopping and eating area.

Go on a sunny day (which are almost every day in Victoria all summer), enjoy excellent reasonable seafood or other snacks relaxing on picnic tables, feed the big fat seals...browse around the eccentric house boats, where residents live year round, and just enjoy the sunshine...More

It’s a cool place to see. There is a parking area and a good place for lunch (some of the places close early so if going for dinner check times). Nice fish and chips place, a mexico place for good tacos, sushi and a bbq...More

We took a water taxi over to fisherman‘s wharf and enjoyed walking around looking at the unique homes and exploring the interesting food options. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon in Victoria

It's about a 5 block walk. All flat but a good 15 minutes. Might be too far for your Mom although there are many benches to stop and rest in between or you can take a Kabuki cab ( bicycle with trailer)
