Walking around downtown and decided to explore Fisherman’s Wharf. It was pouring, yet we still enjoyed this area. I’m sure it’s bustling during spring & summer months. The ships and restaurants were closed. I love the boat houses! We walked up and down the piers...More

House boats? No. More like floating homes permanently moored to the shore. Colourful rows of individual houses lining Fisherman's Wharf literally steps away from evening fast food stalls. Some of these cleverly compact floating dwellings are for rental. Do these houses rock? In an emotional...More

The Wharf is not large but had some nice places to eat. The architecture is also interesting. A short walk from downtown provides a nice place to grab lunch or a snack. Good fish n chips

If you have seen Fisherman's wharf in San Francisco, plan to be disappointed. It's fine if you stumble upon the pier - take a walk. We are there in June 2018 & I assume nothing has changed.

I always have to walk the sea wall to Fishermans wharf. They are currently repairing it so there is a detour but always a great place to walk around. I love to look at the houseboats and have fish and chips in season.

This is a very small fisherman's wharf but a great place to spend an hour or two. A couple of fish and chip shops and a Mexican shop, some unique and fun float homes, and the occasional seal are mainly what you will ind here.

Fishermans Wharfs is high on the list of every traveller to Victoria island. Its a quirky place with unusual wooden houseboats set around the wooden wharf. You can walk up and down the boats and have a nosey look at people living in the boats....More
