Elizabeth is a caring lady with lots of knowledge on photography.
Although her usual tour consists of walking tour and photography lesson, I requested her to take portraits of myself as I was on a solo trip.
She was flexible enough to adjust her service according to my needs and she was really helpful.
She took me to various places where I would not have known if i travelled alone, and her explanation on each site`s history was a huge plus !
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is going to Victoria.

Hi Jasmine,
Thank you for coming on the tour, I'm happy I was able to take pictures of you on your vacation.
It was fun taking some of the more creative pictures of you in your beautiful orange dress.
Cheers Elizabeth

Highly recommend this tour with Elizabeth. Not only does Elizabeth give you great advice on photography but she also shares her local knowledge and history on Victoria. I learnt a lot in the couple of hours and even though only using a small point and shoot camera plus mobile phone, got some lovely photos. Thank you so much Elizabeth. Kind regards, Leigh Austin.

We booked a photo tour over a month in advance, and even confirmed it on the day via email, but when it came to starting the tour, the guide was not there! We exchanged a few emails back and forth, but the information given was random and didn't make sense so we felt as if we were being misled. We waited over half an hour after the tour start time before giving up. The guide did apologise via email later on and offer a free tour for the following day, but we had already made plans so were frustrated we couldn't get the most out of our time in Victoria.

I'm so sorry about the confusion.
The tours leaves twice a day for 2 hours each. You booked the evening tour
which leaves from Ross Bay at 7.00 pm but you were waiting for the tour
at the Inner Harbor. The Inner Harbor tour leaves at 10 am every morning.
That is where the mix up happen. I was waiting at Ross Bay. I would have called you right away when you weren't there on time to see if you were coming, but you never gave me your phone number.
I am truly sorry about that.

Did both the morning inner harbour and evening Ross Bay cemetery, and got to see and learn about so much Victoria knowledge I never would have known! Photos turned out fantastic, and the value cannot be beat considering you get to walk with a pro photographer! Would recommend the evening tour slightly more, as there's a lot less tourists and the shots are quite unique (both at the cemetery and down by the water)

Elizabeth met us outside the visitor centre and despite there just being the two of us (another group had moved to the evening walk) she still took the time to show us around. Elizabeth was very informative and took us past a number of interesting landmarks including the Emily Carr house. All this and some photography tips too! And she wasn't disparaging about us taking photos with our phones either.

I'm glad you liked Emily Carr's House, I just added it to the tour recently
and everyone seams to enjoy the beautiful gardens there.
And I enjoy teaching people how to take better cell phone pics. :-)

The "nature in the city" tour was amazing. Elizabeth was wonderful and kept us entertained with interesting local stories of the people and historical events that shaped Victoria. I especially enjoyed the Ross Bay Cemetery and visiting the grave of Emily Carr. I got some great pictures of the deer that were everywhere.
Thank you Elizabeth, I had fun.

I went on the evening walking tour with Elizabeth and enjoyed it so much! I am an artist and really appreciated that she took our tour to the Ross cemetery when the light was just perfect. I would never have found the cemetery on my own and especially when the light was so amazing. I also enjoyed her anecdotes about the area. Even though I live on the mainland of B.C., I had never heard these stories. The walk up to the viewing point for sunset was again, exactly what I would have picked had I known where to find it! All in all,I was sorry when the tour ended and would really like to take the morning tour when I return to the area.

We have done 2 tours with Elizabeth in Victoria BC.. First we did the Inner Harbor and our photos were so good we came back the next day for the Nature tour as well. She knew excellent locations and had interesting stories about local history. We love it that we are taking our new skills home with us. Thanks so much Elizabeth, Terrence and Laura.

I was looking for a tour of Victoria that would fit both mine and my husbands desires - I love to walk and wander a place and my husband is dabbling in photography - this was a huge win for us! We took both of Elizabeth's tours and had a wonderful time. Our morning tour of the Inner Harbour took us throughout the area and we got to see some amazing homes and learn the history and folklore of the city. Meanwhile my husband took hundreds of pictures and was completely engrossed by the various sites Elizabeth pointed out and recommended he capture in a variety of ways. Later that same evening we met up with Elizabeth and a few other guests for the Nature in the City tour....WOW is about all we can say. The tour begins at the Ross Bay Cemetery which we never would have gotten to had it not been for this tour. Again my husband captured some breathtaking scenery both inside the cemetery and along the coast line while I took in all of Elizabeth's stories about the cemetery's residence. The tour ended just before sunset at Moss Rock Park which allowed for some stunning views and pictures during the golden hour of sunset. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Elizabeth and her tour. You will not be disappointed with Elizabeth.

Visiting Victoria on September 5th, 2019. Was interested in your Sunset tour on that day. Looking at booking but didn’t see where I could specifically register for that evening tour. Did I miss something? Thanks so much.

Hi, I am considering a trip to Victoria in March. However, I am in a wheelchair and having a difficult time finding things to do. This will be my first entirely solo trip, so I was wondering if I would be able to take part in this?
Written October 18, 2018
Yes you would be able to do my morning tour around the Inner Harbor. But I don't start taking tours out until the middle of April as the weather is usually not very nice before that. If you are interested in a private tour I can certainly do that. Just let me know and we can work out the details.
Cheers Elizabeth
