After leaving the Wharf area and the floating homes, we followed the music. There was a Polish band playing and dancing in the park. Lots of people sitting on beach chairs. It was cute. I think we just missed the Polish food. From there we kept walking and discoverd some nice homes on side street on the way to the Parliament buidlings.

Fisherman's Wharf Park is a good area to rest in and relax a bit. It's right across from the water and the views are just wonderful.

A nice break to sit and enjoy after wandering around the waterfront. It was quiet as there were not many tourists wandering around yet at 8 in the morning.

This place has a few great food stops and ice cream shop. It is a must stop for lunch. My family enjoyed eating right on the dock/ wharf and eating great food. The Halibut was the best dish on the wharf. The floating homes are worth the trip.

It is actually a walking distance from the Empress Hotel. It would be more enjoyable going to this place while walking along the wharf. The floating private houses looks cozy and nice. If you walked an appetite, there are fast restaurants in the place. Try the delicious seafood chowder.

I recently took some friends here and was pleased to see some changes; new restaurants, more seating choices. Walking here is best as parking is limited, or you can arrive/leave by one of the regular harbour ferries (little cartoon-like tugboats). Just to the south of the shoreline is a lovely large natural grassed area with a children's park and space for a picnic.

With fishing vessels, pleasure vessels, float homes, and a commercial plaza, the wharf is a popular marine destination for residents and visitors alike. My brother and I took a particular interest in the float home village, debating whether or not we would want to live in a floating residence that belongs to such a heavily trafficked tourist attraction. Our conclusion? It's worth a visit, but living there permanently wouldn't be for us.

Visiting Victoria would not be the same if you did not stop at the Wharf. Try the fish or other sea food everything is fresh
