About Victoria Caledonian Distillery & Twa Dogs Brewery
Victoria Caledonian Distillery & Twa Dogs Brewery is a producer of premium malt whiskies and superb craft beers. Our basic tour lasts 45 mins and begins in our visitor’s centre and flows the way the spirits go, past the grist mill where you can taste some of the various strains of malted & un- malted barley, or other cereals that we as a craft brewer as well as a distiller get to play and experiment with. Onward into the heart of the Brew & Still house through the smells of the mash tun & wash backs, past the gleaming swan necked Stills and then up into the warehouse and bottling hall before returning back to the visitor’s centre for a wee dram of two of the whiskies in our Macaloney Cask Selection series along with three of our craft beers. Please visit our website for available tours.

Take the tour! We booked via NCL Cruise line for ease, but I'd recommend it for anyone looking for some appreciation of local beer and whiskey. Delish and Meghan knows her brewery! Delightful! Touring downtown with a bus guide, Steve was fun too!

This distillery has some amazing scotches blended by experts using Scottish whiskeys. Meanwhile they have produced their own whiskey spirit which is not yet 3 years old ie not legally able to be called whiskey. Regardless- it is still very nice drinking. They let you...More

Tyrus, the kilted guide, gave a thorough description of the crafting of beer and whisky. Love this place. Love the passion. My 19 year old son gave this tour to me as a great rainy day outing together. Thanks.

My local business group gathered for a brewery and distillery tour and it truly was one of our most successful evenings. This is an award winning producer for a reason! Highly recommend for local groups and for people visiting our fair city!

If you're docked on a cruise ship and want a tour, make sure you contact the distillery ahead of time to ensure a tour is available to you at that time. By taxi from the cruise ship it would take you 20 to 30 minutes.
