We stopped at the wilderness center to get a little more info. We hike out to Cruikshank Canyon. We had a beautiful day and a great hike in a gorgeous area. The couple miles nearest the center are well traveled. I highly recommend the hike to the canyon. it is a pretty full

The trails are well marked, you can pick and choose any length of hike. From board walk loops to walking in Alpine meadows the trails beckon. These are easy to intermediate as far as difficulty goes. On a rainy day be prpared to get mucky. There are many lakes to explore
