I think by now, it is fair to call Main Street Brewing one of Vancouver's classic breweries. I can't say I like all of their beers, and I think that's the way it actually should be anyways, but they produce excellent brews that easily find their crowd. I would say the Naked Fox IPA is my all-time favorite. What I really like about this brewery is the venue itself. What an amazing job they did to restore a historic old brewery building! It is absolutely astonishing. The tasting room here has one unique atmosphere I encourage everyone to experience.

We stumbled on the brewery by sheer luck as we were blinking around. Right at the main entrance on East 7th, there is plenty of secured bike racks so in we went. We tried a flight of beer and sampled several of their goodness, ordered some appetizers and that’s all it took! I will definitely returned. The building is beautiful and is a great show of respect for the architecture that prevailed 80 years ago in this part of town. Try the Naked Fox IPA, delicious!

Wife and I walked to a couple of Vancouver craft breweries. First was my old favourite R&B, then over to Main Street. Main Street has a fantastic old high ceiling classic building. Tap room is kinda small with a few tables, and only 16 oz pours. But great fun! Enjoy!

A bit off the beaten path about a block off Main Street. A neat heritage set up with high roofs and a large room (although just an average number of seats). Did flights and the beer selection was good. Didn’t eat, but we both observed that the food being served was much better than normal micro brewery food (don’t take that to mean fine dining though!). Nice room, good beer and decent food. Recommended.

Third stop on our Mt Pleasant self-guided brewery tour. Beautiful old building, good beer, friendly and obliging staff.

I had a chance to hit up a few breweries to check out the Vancouver craft scene and Main st brewing had the best beer of the day. The naked fox ipa was so good, I’ve been thinking about it since the trip. Not to mention all of the other options. I didn’t see the cask ales until after I ordered my fight so I will have to come back some time to get those! What a cool spot.

Hubby & I walked to this little craft brewery from our hotel. The location/area is very nice - quaint.

It was a weeknight and when we arrived told it was 'wing night'! Bonus!!

The place was not crowded...music was just perfect! not loud - we could talk to each other without screaming and/or leaning into each other to hear! How refreshing!

We appreciated the sign they had at the front door advising patrons to be respectful of the neighbors - keep the noise down! Very cool!

We each had a flight of beers and wings! Service was extremely friendly - food was great! Truly enjoyed both!

We have been to numerous craft breweries in Vancouver over the years. We wish more of the other craft beer places would follow their lead in keeping the volume down ....I'm sure there are others out there who don't enjoy 'screaming' to be heard!....

Great job Main Street Brewery! We will/have recommend you to others!
We will be back! Thank you!

We had to wait a bit for a table, but not too long, and the tasting room was interesting. The service is very friendly and the beer and food were great. I had the 4th Anniversary Quad, my spouse had the Spruce Moose, and we were both satisfied with our choices. We had the Brewer's pretzel as food, which was a nice accompaniment.
