Visited for drinks and food before the soccer game. The atmosphere was great, lots of fans in. Tried a couple of good beers and enjoyed some good food. There was even a free bus to take everyone to the stadium.

Might be ok for a gettogether after work but only if you are not in a hurry: rarely experienced service so slow... If you go, have a drink, but forget the food!

Been here on numerous occasions and the service was absolutely atrocious. The food itself was ok but after some bad experiences my friends and I have decided to not go back. It's really too bad because it was good a few years ago. Also I work in Yaletown and would have liked to frequent this location.

This brewpub is big but was still busy when we arrived for dinner at about 7 PM. we sat in the lounge for 45 minutes or so until a table opened up on the outside patio. It was a great evening to enjoy the outdoors! being a brew pub, it only naturally features a good selection of local beers, including... More

Stopped in for beer and light supper later in the evening on a week night. Lots of seating with outdoor options. Sat in the bar area; bartender was on the job with fast , cordial service. For us it was a pleasant experience. Moderate prices. Noise level high.

I go out approx. 2-3/week and would recommend steering clear of this restaurant if friendly service is important. The food was competent but ordering and delivery and guest recognition leaves something to be desired. My recommendation is - spend a bit more money and go to Yew restaurant (Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver). No matter how busy the staff, service and... More

Lively popular bar with a very good beer selection. Staff are knowledgeable about the beers and happy to offer samples. Fun place to drink on a weekend if not a little too popular (busy!)...

Not a bad alternative to the (overly) popular nearby restaurants in trendy Yaletown. Casual in atmosphere and pace - but serious offerings on the menu. Our party of 4 sampled a good cross-section from the eclectic menu are we were all very satisfied. For beer aficionados, they have an excellent variety of lagers, ales, and stouts to sample. Parking in... More

We enjoyed our dinner here immensely. We started with the Fish Cakes Appetizer - South Indian curry spiced, panko and coconut crusted salmon & cod cakes, with cashews, served with papaya salsa, and sweet coconut reduction. We then shared the Jakarta Bowl - Lamb tenderloin tossed with sweet and hot peppers, red onions, fresh cilantro, peanuts and sweet ndonesian soy... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
