Sunset Beach is a gorgeous and popular beach and park in Vancouver's West End neighbourhood. There is a reason for it's name - the sunsets and sunrises are absolutely AMAZING to watch from this beach. It was also a beautiful place to relax with great...More

My wife and I took a ferry from Granville Island to stop at Vancouver Aquatic Centre. We then walked along this beach to eventually see the park where the "A-maze-ing Laughter" statues are located.

Found this great little place and had two awesome burgers,a Deluxe and a Deluxe with cheese, prepared by a sweet lady. Couldn't have found a more perfect spot to relax. The burgers were delicious. The day we went it was quite smoggy from the recent...More

We got stuck in the awful Vancouver traffic. It was a beautiful day, our last day in the city. So we asked: why not try a place to enjoy sunset? We just followed west and arrived at Pacific Dr. at Sunset Beach. What a great...More

If you are walking westward from False Creek to Stanley Park, this is a great place to stop and admire the views. Services available, including washrooms and parking - both rare in this area.

Sunset Beach.... says it all. There are logs throughout the beach area for you to sit on, or bring your own blanket. Bring your camera. It’s well worth the wait.

There is a reason why it's called the Sunset Beach. The view is gorgeous during dusk. The yellow lights of sunset and silhouette of landscape are nice to watch.

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
