Vancouver has a great transportation system, but beware the difference in fare if you're transferring from the Expo line or one of the buses to the Canada line, which will take you directly to the airport. You need to upgrade your fare on the CL or use a compass card ($6), then just reload it as needed. Compass cards can... More

You really don't need a car. We got around using the sky train and the buses. And, alot cheaper than renting a car!

I love the sky train and wish Toronto had several. Moving throughout Vancouver quickly is a effective manner of travel. Easy stops along the way and a wonderful view of the neighbourhoods we travelled through. A great experience indeed.

Subways are new to Vancouver compared to New York, Toronto or Seoul Korea . Since fairly new you may get odd hiccup but not to often. Dont forget to tap out when leaving terminal, Seoul Korea has been doing this method for years. This system is not as complex as other subways around world but its a good start nothing... More

The SkyTrain is a fast, efficient, and fun way to get into the city from the airport. It's well marked at the airport. Follow signs for Ground Transportation. Once aboard it's only about 20 minutes to the city, 25 to the waterfront. Clean and easy. Save the hassle of driving or getting a taxi and sitting in traffic!

Buy a ticket that is good from there to Lonsdale Quay. Go to the Waterfront platform and go to the far north end of the plarform.... More

Jumped on the train for a quick 20 minute ride from City Centre to the airport. $4, trains wasn't busy at ~11am. Would absolutely do it again.

Arriving at the airport, the Sky Train is only a few steps away. It is easy to purchase tickets on the platform, and it takes passengers swiftly to their destination. It is a pleasant journey, ho hassle.
