In Vancouver on business and in urgent need of a manicure/pedicure because of the great weather! Popped into Absolute Spa at The Century...and although I am unable to vouch for other spa services and the relaxation element, I can certainly say that the service I received from Deanna was very good....expensive but very good. I was offered a free spa... More

I had an amazing experience here they offered a discount for a massage and I was not going to pass it up. Very well prepared and the meals were very yummy.

My boyfriend and I visited the spa for our anniversary. The staff were very friendly and the massage was nice, but I was extremely disappointed with the change room. It was so small and with 4 other women in there at the same time, there was literally no where to have any privacy. I felt extremely rushed as I wanted... More

My pedicure at Absolute Spa at the Century plaza was fantastic. Jodi, the aesthetician, knows how to pamper! The service was well done: relaxing foot and leg massage and careful clipping and polish application. The day I was there there was one other client, which made for a zen experience. However, it's not always that quiet so if you're looking... More

The RMT massage was good but the price was exorbitant; can have the same i hour massage for $35 less at many other day spas. Seem to be paying for the possible use of the pool and a tiny steam room plus a "complimentary" salad; chicken if you eat meat, otherwise no vegetarian protein whatsoever (seriously --- you can't even... Admittedly, I am a spa "tramp", and am not loyal to one particular spa (e.g. I get my nails done elsewhere)... but I have to say that I have only ever had spectacular service at the Absolute Spa at The Century. They are clearly trained well, as the service is quite consistent over the years -- from the person who... More

I wish I could give a 5 star review because I was so impressed with the staff and in particular the RMT who did my 90 minute massage, but unfortunately the facilities are sub-par. I visited the spa with my mother and two aunts, two of us had 90 minute massages with RMTs and the other two had body scrubs... More

I visited the spa recently with a few girlfriends. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The spa services were good. What fell short of expectations were the amenities of the spa. There weren't any cups or glasses in the relaxation room and we had to request both before and after our services. I was surprised that they did not... More

I visited the Century Vancouver location and was lucky enough to enjoy a full body massage, facial, pedicure and manicure. All of the staff were excellent, super friendly and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Anne M

My husband and I visited this spa toward the end of our trip. Everyone was very friendly! My husband said it was the best massage he had ever had, and he is hard to please, he usually says they don't do it hard enough. I had an hour and a half massage also and it was great! I do like... More

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
