This was an amazing fly over Canada’s spectacular wilderness. They make you see a weird movie to start with, I think it’s meant to showcase the Canadian lifestyle, but it was fairly boring and lowered my expectations for the main event. Luckily the actual Fly...More

Also, we arrive at YVR at 9:30pm and thought of taking the Canada Line transit to Westin on Robson Street. I think we get dropped off at Canada Place and will have to walk a few blocks to our hotel. Is it safe to do so or are we better off just taking a taxi?
Hi All, My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Canada in October. We're planning on spending 2 or 2.5 weeks, and if possible would like to go to Yukon, Whitehorse to also see the Northernlights, but aren't sure if this would be too ambitious. Our current plan is; Arrive in Calgery and drive straight to Banff Banff to Jasper Jasper to Kamloops or Revelstokes (just for a stop over) Whistler (1 night) Vancouver (4 nights) - including day trip to Victoria We've basically planned...More

I think you should ask the question in the Canadian Rockies forum, which is in Alberta.
**Looking for an area to visit north tourist places.** (17 Replies)
We´re looking for an accommodation for me, my wife and two years daughter. We´ll stay there for only two days, three nights. We´ll have a car these days. Really impressed with the accomodation prices...Downtown is pretty cheap but perhaps North Vancouver is lower... But not sure where to stay because the places that We want to visit are: Stanley Park, Lynn canyon park, Lynn canyon bridge or Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, False Creek, Grandville Market y FlyOver Canada....More

There are 3 hotels and about the same number of motels I North Vancouver. All the motels and one hotel (Pinnacle at the Pier) are construction sites. You could look at the Holiday Inn. Free parking and near to Lynn Canyon, Grouse Mountain and Cape Bridge. It's a 20 minute drive to city centre unless the bridge is plugged. The places you have listed have parking. It isn't easy for public transit though. For that you can look at Lonsdale Quay Hotel.
