- Ersilio IVancouver, Canada3 contributionsFly over Hawaii and Fly over Canada experienceWe booked the double ride of both Fly over Hawaii and Fly over Canada. It was amazing however it would have been nice to know what I was actually looking at. I prefer the Fly over Canada as it had more realistic experience such as the water mist when flying over water. Both were great and the staff got us on earlier ride since we arrived early and there was space available. Little pricey for the 20 minute rideVisited December 2022Written December 4, 2022
- happycamper63Vancouver, Canada6 contributionsGreat Short Film Way too Pricey!Get ready to pay huge for a family , Experience is great but very short. The venue and everything about it is well done. They should offer a better value fir the high prices they charge. Online for 4 adults was 159.00 for a 25 min. experience. Add parking and a meal its costly! Pre-show is pretty hokey!Visited December 2022Traveled with familyWritten December 13, 2022

- Danny TKelowna, Canada12 contributionsIt was fun experience minus the unwelcoming vibes from the staff/crew like we were gonna do something badI took my son and his best friend here because we wanna try this ride outside outside disney and universal studio attractions/rides. It was great and very enjoyable. But the unwelcoming stare and vibes from the younger staff from the Photo Booth and inside the pre-show room gave us the look as if we are about to do bad things out of all people. We were wearing a bit of rough homeless clothing(costume) we were also part of a disney film being shot here. But I have a 2K 360 camera on hand but I also follow the rule on not using them during the show. I never did! The photo taken of us wasn’t close to what my 3yo niece’s skill. She knows how to count down and knows if the people are ready to be taken pic of. Unfortunately, this experience wasn’t even close to that of my 3yo niece’s skills. 😂 we collect memories every where in the world we go to and support business like this one. Photo Booths are our big cake in any attractions. But this one is terrible! Should hire someone who knows how to handle cameras and understands the pulse when it’s time to click the shutter button.Visited December 2022Traveled with familyWritten December 19, 2022
- Jennifer C2 contributionsGood but..Flyover Canada is a good experience overall, it would be even better if it was a little longer and if the film flowed a little better as you were flying over different parts of the country. At some parts of the flying experience the film will just change from say mountain peak to orchard without just naturally fading in. I realize it’s probably difficult to do but the impact would be phenomenal. Also Vancouver is already known for being so expensive, I feel these changes would make the whole thing feel a little more ‘worth it’Visited December 2022Traveled with familyWritten December 19, 2022

- gypsy604201 contributionsGreat Show but......we had to wait too long in line ups (there were several waits) and it was not organized well. They also messed up at the beginning of the show where they started it but had to stop and restart. It wasn't a seamless experience unfortunately. The actual show itself was 5 stars!!Hi, Thank You for flying with us! We are happy that you enjoyed your flight. During our peak season, of which Christmas is, we do have lines to get in, which while seeming long, are based on show times. Once we open the show, close to 60 people will enter per show thus clearing the line quickly of which we understand waiting in line is part of. There are different stages to the experience which are pre show, boarding gate and the flight itself. When there is a technical issue or safety concern, we do stop the flight with a Safety First mindset being prevalent in all we do. Unfortunately, this is inconvenient for guests, but, safety will always prevail over convenience. We do appreciate the opportunity to explain our processes and provide some context to the experience. We look forward to hosting you in the future. We have some exciting features, including Hawaii, Taiwan, Iceland and Canadian Rockies as well our seasonal features which we are looking forward to and we hope to share some of these experiences with you. - Bryan C1 contributionVideo quality and cost not worth itWe are local to Vancouver and decided to meet up family for a holiday get together and try something touristy. We decided to try the Fly Over Canada experience and we’re disappointed. The cost did not meet the quality of the projection. In a time of HD TV at home it’s very disappointing to come to an experience like this and have it be poor. The cost was not worth it nor was the length of the show worth it. We were a large group of 9, as such our cost was high. I would much rather have gone and seen a movie at Cineplex with better quality than this. Sorry to knock this, however, I recommend spending your hard earned cash elsewhere.Visited January 2023Traveled with familyWritten January 3, 2023

A Canadian myself, I was excited to take my friend from Australia to see the FlyOver Canada and show off our beautiful country. I was sorely disappointed to have paid 71$ for two people for a show that doesn’t even last 10minutes and barely shows off any of the great sights Canada has to offer. It could have been at least 15 minutes without the crowd getting bored (everyone commented on how disappointingly short it was) and spent more time or even touched on some of our great cities/provinces. It would have been nice for the tourists to know what parts of the country they were actually flying over in order to go visit one day (isn’t that the point of this whole thing.... to market Canadian Tourism...?)
Not to mention the quality of the footage itself is pixelated or blurry which doesn’t help calm the stomach when your flying around in a simulator.
The Xmas show was catered to children so I’m sure they enjoyed it, but to have elves flying around on the screen was quite silly. However flying through the NorthPole was probably the only thing remotely well done as it was all animated.
They say it lasts about 25 minutes, which includes the 17 minutes of waiting around in the hotbox waiting area.
I would suggest going and renting a bike for half the price and riding the sea wall for a real canadian experience and views.

Hello 417sda,
Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us.
We appreciate all feedback and value the opportunity to understand each guests' experience. We are delighted to hear that you wanted to show off our beautiful country to a friend. The film is created to be as true to life as possible and our goal is to let the imagination soar. The length of the ride is a very common comment we get, the creators of the ride wanted to make sure the ride is accessible for everyone including those who are sensitive to motion sickness.
We are disappointed to hear that we didn’t fully meet your expectations and would like to invite you to let us know more by emailing us at info@flyovercanada.com. Thank you again for your time in writing to us.

The Flyover experience was great! The experience getting in was a mess. We booked for a 6:30pm show and we were through the whole process checking in and vaccine passport check etc. We were in the middle of the line to enter the pre-show. After the pre-show and entering the main show, we were somehow picked re-checked for our booking and notified that they had been overbooked and we were removed and put into the the 7:30pm show. It was a mess at the entrance, I don't understand how a online booking system with scheduled times this could still happen. We could tell we weren't the only ones.

We went to a Fly Over Hawaii as a family of 5. I am a regular so the actual ride experience was enjoyable as always. They keep advertising a 25% discount but fail to mention there are blackout dates and refuse to correct their Facebook post. We
booked early and arrived early as well. Please be aware that just because you book as a group does not mean that you are able to do the ride as a group. After much confusion by the staff we were split up. A very disappointing way to experience a family outing, After speaking to the manager they gave us a photo but the whole experience was ruined. I couldn’t care less about the photo. I will definitely chose a different family experience in future.

Canada is the 2nd largest country so show more of Canada each province so that prople could enjoy more of ride part. Pre film part is very boring is discontinue that. We pay for movie ticket aroung 12-15 which is 2.5-3 hrs long and this fly over was way expensive for just 4-5 min show ride. Ride was fun but it needs to be longer atleast half an hour. Totally disappointed with the short ride time. Not spending any money on thid next time.

Went here with a friend - experience was ok. It's a pretty fun time for a 25 minute "experience" but they completely skip over my two favourite cities Regina and Winnipeg. It seemed like flyover Canada went from Calgary to Toronto. The parkour video in the intro lobby isn't the greatest and really not sure how this fits into the attraction. You see this attraction once - you don't need to come back. Pay the student price on the internet for $20 - they don't check IDs (you'll thank me for saving you money)

Hello Weatherfrank,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
It is a pleasure to read you and your friend had a pretty fun time at FlyOver Canada. Indeed we have many types of tickets suitable for the whole family. Our student tickets are for 13-21 year olds, If you look older than 21 you must be prepared to show your ID.
We hope to welcome you back soon for another fun experience at FlyOver Canada!

I rather go on the Soarin ride at Disneyland. This was so blurry and not worth it and the screen wasn't sharp at all. If you are tourist or local please do not risk yourself to pay 30 or 40 bucks to get in and it's not worth it. I rather save my money to go to Disneyland instead. They say there is special edition to be honest they made it to be the same to be the actual thing you saw from fly over Canada. It was nothing special they only show you the animation part for the special edition for a 30 seconds or a minute. I tell you for the Christmas one for the Fly Over Canada when they said to help Santa to find the elves on the sleigh they were actually photoshopped inside for the Fly Over Canada show which was a terrible job. Which is not worth your time to go see. Including the way they check the seat belt they were actually not looking. They say the click means tight but still they got to make sure you are pulling the strap that you are safe. They did not even check on you when you are pulling the strap which is very dangerous. For Disneyland they check on you twice to double check for Fly Over Canada they don't even care. I will never go there again they also ripped people off. Such a knock off for Soarin.

Hi,
Thank You for flying with us!
Yes, our Christmas show is our Canada show with a Christmas theme. Our story is to help Santa find the elves, which of course they have to be digitally embedded into the ride. We have an additional animation from the North Pole in addition to the regular flight to add more Christmas to the flight experience.
We can assure you we take safety very seriously. There are a series of checks performed before take off, the one visible to guests is the seat belt visual check but we have other checks which are not visible to guests to ensure a seatbelt is engaged. When we have had instances of seatbelts not engaging, we have taken that seat out of commission until repairs are made. Thankfully, that does not happen often but when it does, our team are aware immediately.
Thank You for raising your concerns and allowing us the opportunity to address.

The wait times was unbelievable booked for 12.00 noon and didn’t start until 12.40. Expensive for the time on the ride, depending on season price also varies.
I rode three times twice over Canada and once over Taiwan the Taiwan ride had more movement and more exciting. The Canada one was very tame. Not a lot of movement.
Dreamworld in Australia has the same ride concept and is even more exciting than both. There is nothing much to Dreamworld these days either.

The experience was really cool, it’s not something I would’ve ordinarily done on my own but I did it with a group which was probably wiser. We didn’t have to wait too long but the staff didn’t know we were coming for some reason and seemed really confused when we got in. The only thing I didn’t like were the sprays of water in my face but it was really cool. I would have liked for it to go for longer.

My husband and I really enjoyed the Halloween version of Fly Over Canada, but we don't recommend bothering with spending money on the pictures. They were not worth what we paid for them. We have only tried the Howl Over Canada version (it is, after all, Halloween time), and we think that kids will especially love the fun animation that comes with the experience.

It is exactly like Soarin’ at Disney. You are in a bench with seat belts and are moved forward so that the IMAX screen surrounds you more, but the motion after that is all on the screen. You can shut your eyes and know you are still.

I wouldn’t say it is a good way to pick places to visit. It is more a generic flyover of typical sights in Canada. Use Trip Advisor reviews and comments or the Tourist info sites for suggestions. Vancouver tourist information centre is very helpful too. We just did the bus toWhistler. I don’t think tours to get there are good value. We paid $35 return on Epic rides. Good service. Have fun!

Our granddaughter is 4 1/2 years old but meets the height requirement... is it possible for an adult to ride with her in her pod? Do children this young often do this ride?
Thankd

I'm not sure about the rules but it's not really like a pod it's a seat each with a safety bar that came down from above and held them in similar to roller coasters.
I'm sure if she meets the height requirement however that it would be feasible to get her on the ride.
How much would it cost for 2 adults & 3 kids (ages 11, 12 & 13) to experience this?

Adult tickets are around $21 and children 12 and under (the 13 yr old could pass for 12yr) is $15. Enjoy this attraction it's a lot of fun.

Hi Cuong N -
Thank you for reaching out to us, that is an excellent question. While we can't confirm weather, the typical highs for May is 19 degrees Celcius and lows of 9 degrees Celcius. While we do provide sheltered waiting areas, but still remain partially exposed to the elements and recommending dressing for the conditions.
We regularly experience wait times over weekends, public holidays, summer and seasonal events. We would recommend purchasing FastLane tickets to secure your preferred time and minimise possible wait times.
