Thrilling intro to the majesty of Canada
We loved Flyover Canada. The movie is short (8 minutes) and the seat movement is mild. It is a fun and thrilling introduction to the country of Canada. We appreciated the humor in the safety video prior to the movie. The photography is spectacular and actually brought tears to my eyes in places. It really felt like we were flying over top of snow capped peaks. We liked this so much that we did it twice! I would recommend buying tickets online ahead of time because time slots fill up quickly if cruise ship passengers are in port. Two gigantic ships were docked on each of the days we went. Don’t miss this!
Dear treefarm6, Thank you for visiting FlyOver Canada and taking the time to leave us a 5 star review. We are thrilled to read you enjoyed flying with us so much! He hope you had a pleasant stay in Vancouver and look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Have a great week ahead. Kindest regards, Alisa Ivanova Guest Experience Manager

Well done but shorter than anticipated
Group of 7 - pre booking was easy and worked well. When waiting, we needed a chair for one in the group but staff was reluctant to get it but we got one after a short interaction. The actual “flight” was much shorter than we were expecting for the price of admission.
Hello Freedom41458053992, Thank you for visiting FlyOver Canada and taking the time to leave a review. We are excited to read you enjoyed flying with us. We are glad your request for a chair was accommodated, our apologies it took some time to get it. To address your comments about the length of the ride, we wanted to share that in line with industry research, we are unable to extend the duration of the ride much longer, as guests who are sensitive to motion sickness would start to feel uncomfortable. We look forward to hosting you in the future. We have some exciting features, including Hawaii, Taiwan, Iceland, Wild West, Canadian Rockies as well our seasonal features which we are looking forward to and we hope to share some of these experiences with you. Good value and concept
Situated in probably one of the best and scenic locations in downtown Vancouver, it’s a good concept and an excellent tourist draw. You spend less than an hour (if you have time constraints) so it’s perfect for tourists on the go. Movies seem to rotate regularly so there’s variety. Only drawback is that the penalty for the great scenery is that you have to walk a little bit if you’re on foot. Maybe 5 minutes from the street or park underneath the facility, go to the end and take the elevator.

    Terrifying but worth it
We did the Discover Iceland tour as the FlyOver Cnada was not available. It was amazing! Stunningly beautiful and absolutely terrifying! I watched my son's feet jerk upwards every time we seemed to be hurtling into a mountain.

    A Must Try!
As a resident of the local area, I had never visited FlyOver Canada before due to its relatively high pricing. However, I recently decided to take my child for a weekend outing without any discounts or special offers. To my disappointment, I later discovered that on weekdays, they offer free admission for kids along with a 50% discount on photo purchases. It would be fantastic if they extended this offer to local residents as well. Surprisingly, I hadn't researched the experience in advance, and it turned out to be a pleasantly unexpected and enjoyable outing for us. I must warn you, though, that if you are prone to motion sickness, this attraction can be quite nauseating. I felt queasy even after a short 25-minute show. I genuinely hope that they consider introducing some local resident discounts in the future.

    Fly Over Iceland
A wonderful, exciting thrill ride. Amazing and spectacular scenery. I really felt like I was actually flying in the aircraft. I was hanging on to the arm rests for dear life and had to close my eyes a few times. Very realistic virtual ride. Love the effects of water spray when we were flying close to waterfalls. This is a must see.

    Fly Over Iceland so realistic
Brought back memories of hiking as it was spectacular with the variety of terrain. Flying over Rejkjavik was ultimate especially seeing the building with the Leif Eriksson monument. Live to fly and this was so true to gliding around the country with clear videos and lots of action!

    Great Experience.
It was a great experience. The price is reasonable though it could be considered a little steep for a 25 min experience especially if there is a large family / group. Overall we enjoyed it and may be back again.

    Great attraction
We have been a few times on the Flyover Canada and the Christmas version but this was our first time to one that wasn't base in Canada and it met the high standard that the Canada one sets. if you are a BC resident the discount is a very nice touch as well. However this time the screen seemed to be out of focus which was disappointing
Dear 30epearson, Thank you for visiting FlyOver and taking the time to leave us a review. We are happy to read you enjoyed flying with us! To address your comments regarding the quality, we wanted to share our unique 40-foot curved screen makes it unfeasible to achieve the same HD quality we are so used to on modern TVs and flat screen cinemas nowadays. However, the industry and technology are continuously advancing, and as a company, we are committed to use the latest available technology for filming our next edition of FlyOver. We look forward to hosting you again in the future. We have some exciting rides, including Hawaii, Taiwan, Wild West, Canadian Rockies, Iceland, Chicago as well our seasonal features which we are excited about and hope to share some of these experiences with you. Very Nice Experience
I visited Flyover with my kids twice in 2023 and twice two years ago. I was happy each time I visited. Staff is friendly, show/ride is entertaining for the whole family. It was nice have kids enjoying with adults and everyone had fun. I think that this adventure could be great adventure for cruisers as it's in the same building. Get off the cruise the walk few steps, here you are having fun not too far from the dock. So easy to book. I highly recommend it to residents or visitors. Thank you Flyover Canada for a great experience.

A Canadian myself, I was excited to take my friend from Australia to see the FlyOver Canada and show off our beautiful country. I was sorely disappointed to have paid 71$ for two people for a show that doesn’t even last 10minutes and barely shows off any of the great sights Canada has to offer. It could have been at least 15 minutes without the crowd getting bored (everyone commented on how disappointingly short it was) and spent more time or even touched on some of our great cities/provinces. It would have been nice for the tourists to know what parts of the country they were actually flying over in order to go visit one day (isn’t that the point of this whole thing.... to market Canadian Tourism...?)

Not to mention the quality of the footage itself is pixelated or blurry which doesn’t help calm the stomach when your flying around in a simulator.

The Xmas show was catered to children so I’m sure they enjoyed it, but to have elves flying around on the screen was quite silly. However flying through the NorthPole was probably the only thing remotely well done as it was all animated.

They say it lasts about 25 minutes, which includes the 17 minutes of waiting around in the hotbox waiting area.

I would suggest going and renting a bike for half the price and riding the sea wall for a real canadian experience and views.

Hello 417sda, Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. We appreciate all feedback and value the opportunity to understand each guests' experience. We are delighted to hear that you wanted to show off our beautiful country to a friend. The film is created to be as true to life as possible and our goal is to let the imagination soar. The length of the ride is a very common comment we get, the creators of the ride wanted to make sure the ride is accessible for everyone including those who are sensitive to motion sickness. We are disappointed to hear that we didn’t fully meet your expectations and would like to invite you to let us know more by emailing us at info@flyovercanada.com. Thank you again for your time in writing to us.

The Flyover experience was great! The experience getting in was a mess. We booked for a 6:30pm show and we were through the whole process checking in and vaccine passport check etc. We were in the middle of the line to enter the pre-show. After the pre-show and entering the main show, we were somehow picked re-checked for our booking and notified that they had been overbooked and we were removed and put into the the 7:30pm show. It was a mess at the entrance, I don't understand how a online booking system with scheduled times this could still happen. We could tell we weren't the only ones.

We went to a Fly Over Hawaii as a family of 5. I am a regular so the actual ride experience was enjoyable as always. They keep advertising a 25% discount but fail to mention there are blackout dates and refuse to correct their Facebook post. We
booked early and arrived early as well. Please be aware that just because you book as a group does not mean that you are able to do the ride as a group. After much confusion by the staff we were split up. A very disappointing way to experience a family outing, After speaking to the manager they gave us a photo but the whole experience was ruined. I couldn’t care less about the photo. I will definitely chose a different family experience in future.

Canada is the 2nd largest country so show more of Canada each province so that prople could enjoy more of ride part. Pre film part is very boring is discontinue that. We pay for movie ticket aroung 12-15 which is 2.5-3 hrs long and this fly over was way expensive for just 4-5 min show ride. Ride was fun but it needs to be longer atleast half an hour. Totally disappointed with the short ride time. Not spending any money on thid next time.

Went here with a friend - experience was ok. It's a pretty fun time for a 25 minute "experience" but they completely skip over my two favourite cities Regina and Winnipeg. It seemed like flyover Canada went from Calgary to Toronto. The parkour video in the intro lobby isn't the greatest and really not sure how this fits into the attraction. You see this attraction once - you don't need to come back. Pay the student price on the internet for $20 - they don't check IDs (you'll thank me for saving you money)

Hello Weatherfrank, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It is a pleasure to read you and your friend had a pretty fun time at FlyOver Canada. Indeed we have many types of tickets suitable for the whole family. Our student tickets are for 13-21 year olds, If you look older than 21 you must be prepared to show your ID. We hope to welcome you back soon for another fun experience at FlyOver Canada!

I rather go on the Soarin ride at Disneyland. This was so blurry and not worth it and the screen wasn't sharp at all. If you are tourist or local please do not risk yourself to pay 30 or 40 bucks to get in and it's not worth it. I rather save my money to go to Disneyland instead. They say there is special edition to be honest they made it to be the same to be the actual thing you saw from fly over Canada. It was nothing special they only show you the animation part for the special edition for a 30 seconds or a minute. I tell you for the Christmas one for the Fly Over Canada when they said to help Santa to find the elves on the sleigh they were actually photoshopped inside for the Fly Over Canada show which was a terrible job. Which is not worth your time to go see. Including the way they check the seat belt they were actually not looking. They say the click means tight but still they got to make sure you are pulling the strap that you are safe. They did not even check on you when you are pulling the strap which is very dangerous. For Disneyland they check on you twice to double check for Fly Over Canada they don't even care. I will never go there again they also ripped people off. Such a knock off for Soarin.

Hi, Thank You for flying with us! Yes, our Christmas show is our Canada show with a Christmas theme. Our story is to help Santa find the elves, which of course they have to be digitally embedded into the ride. We have an additional animation from the North Pole in addition to the regular flight to add more Christmas to the flight experience. We can assure you we take safety very seriously. There are a series of checks performed before take off, the one visible to guests is the seat belt visual check but we have other checks which are not visible to guests to ensure a seatbelt is engaged. When we have had instances of seatbelts not engaging, we have taken that seat out of commission until repairs are made. Thankfully, that does not happen often but when it does, our team are aware immediately. Thank You for raising your concerns and allowing us the opportunity to address. The wait times was unbelievable booked for 12.00 noon and didn’t start until 12.40. Expensive for the time on the ride, depending on season price also varies.

I rode three times twice over Canada and once over Taiwan the Taiwan ride had more movement and more exciting. The Canada one was very tame. Not a lot of movement.
Dreamworld in Australia has the same ride concept and is even more exciting than both. There is nothing much to Dreamworld these days either.

The experience was really cool, it’s not something I would’ve ordinarily done on my own but I did it with a group which was probably wiser. We didn’t have to wait too long but the staff didn’t know we were coming for some reason and seemed really confused when we got in. The only thing I didn’t like were the sprays of water in my face but it was really cool. I would have liked for it to go for longer.

Overall, it's an experience that I and my family won't forget. Kids loved it and the sensations were incredibly realistic. The price is high though for the amount of time you do get in the actual show which hurts the overall value of the experience.

My husband and I really enjoyed the Halloween version of Fly Over Canada, but we don't recommend bothering with spending money on the pictures. They were not worth what we paid for them. We have only tried the Howl Over Canada version (it is, after all, Halloween time), and we think that kids will especially love the fun animation that comes with the experience.
