Taken Seair many times but now they are much cheaper than harbour air and deliver the same service. I highly recommend Seair seaplanes.

Great service, on time, and super quick! I went Nanaimo to Vancouver Canada Place, walked another 3 blocks and I was exactly on time for my meeting. Can’t ask for more than that.

We flew the ‘mail run’ trip to Nanaimo in a single engined ‘Beaver’. The staff were super friendly and kind. The pilot allowed my 13 year old son to sit in the co-pilots seat, which for a wannabe pilot was just every dream come true! It’s not the cheapest attraction, but it’s one that we’ll never forget and so therefore worth every single penny.

On a whim we decided to book a short sightseeing flight on a seaplane. As an aside, it gave us another ‘tick’ for different types of transport on our holiday. The booking process was straightforward - take photo ID - and the flight was scheduled for the following morning. The morning check-in process was slick and the pilot escorted us to the aircraft having, first, gone through the lifejacket etc briefing. The pilot was very personable and, as I occupied the co-pilot seat, I was able to chat via the headset. The flight from water experience was new to me and worth every penny. The sightseeing tour was only 20 mins airborne (and 10 mins seaborne) but took in a significant expanse of the local area.

I use this airline regularly for scheduled flights and occasional charters to the Gulf Islands. From the moment I arrive at their beautifully maintained facility, my day is better. Staff are ready to take my signature on my invoice, weigh my luggage, offer me a beverage and chat about the day. Pilots are professional yet take time to meet individual needs. Dock staff are friendly and helpful - special shout out to Kelly at Ganges. By contrast, Harbour Air next door, keeps pretending they are Air Canada (officious and distant) and their river venue smells of stale cooking oil from the less-than-savory pub/cafe in the same building.
