Glenn is a born storyteller who is enthusiastic, informed and personable. He brings this tour alive with newspaper clippings, poems from Pauline Johnson, and anecdotes from his research. The time goes quickly as he explains the historical background, the development of the park and its indigenous roots. He has a clear speaking voice which is easy to follow and this tour is highly recommendable.

Very spooky and interesting. I learned a lot! Our guide was engaging, funny, and charming. Felt like a live theatre performance that we got to be a part of.

My partner and I took my parents on this tour as a gift. Given that they are both very well-versed in local history, I was worried there would be little or nothing on the tour they hadn't heard before... but this was far from the case. I appreciated the tour's interesting mix of true crime stories with a largely indigenous-focused history of the park that told of its pre-contact origins as well as its status as home to indigenous settlements (I was surprised to learn) up through the middle of the 20th century. Lina, our tour guide, was sincere and funny, a great storyteller. Her tone and approach to the tour made each stop feel like part of the same unified story, despite covering a huge range of topics. All in all, a great experience, even on a somewhat rainy morning.
