I tried their newest North Vancouver Lo Lo tour and loved it! I rarely visit North Van so this tour introduced me to so many delicious places in the Lower Lonsdale area. I loved the pear brie pizza, candied salmon, and wine tastings that we had in the market. Our tour guide, Jewel, was so lovely and friendly! I highly... More

Had a wonderful food tour of North Vancouver Lower Lonsdale area. Jewel did a wonderful job of sharing tidbits about the food and drink as well as showcasing the vendors and their specialties. Some favorites included pear pizza, seafood chowder, chips and guacamole with a mole sauce, calamari, deep fried pickles and wine and beer tastings. Great discovers in North... More

I took my staff team on the Lower Lonsdale Food Tour and had a wonderful experience! 11 stops with great food, drink, and conversation; there was something for everyone. Our tour guide, Brent, did a fantastic job of keeping us moving, making us laugh, and giving us the history of lower Lonsdale. I'd highly recommend this tour.

Of the two food tour companies we used in this trip, this was our least favorite. Guide was a little over the top! The group was a little too large! The stops were too touristy for our taste. When we stopped at Starbucks first, I was nervous! I can Starbucks anywhere! Some of the other stops were more local but... More

Thank you Aimee for taking your time to review the tour. We appreciate your feedback but sorry to hear you thought the tour was a bit touristy. We always listen to our customers' opinions and look for improvements as much as possible. The reason we start at Starbucks is that it is a visible meeting point for our tour guests.... More

I have been coming to Vancouver on business for over 20 years, and thought I had done everything touristy there was to be done. However, I only recently discovered this tour, and thoroughly enjoyed the guide, Tia, who was energetic and gracious, as she took us to eight different food venues. Each was different and delicious. I highly recommend this... More

We organized a group from Kansas City to go on a cruise out of Vancouver so we were in town for a few days. Having done food tours in other cities we were excited to see one offered there. We were not disappointed. Brent was our tour guide and he did an EXCELLENT job. He was very entertaining and we... More

This was a fun and unique way to learn about Vancouver! Our guide, Tia, was enthusiastic and engaged and all the food was good and plentiful! You'll want to go back to several of the spots. Our group was small so that made it even more fun. Highly recommend giving a food tour a try!

7 of us joined Tia's tour recently. What a delightful young lady! She definitely had done her homework and gave an interesting repetoire. The 9 merchants were hospitable and generous. Go hungry!

A great day out despite the pouring rain. In fact an ideal activity if the weather isn't flash. Max was warm, engaging, friendly and knowledgable. Excellent quality food throughout. The website recommends that you arrive hungry. There's a good reason for that!

Group tour graciously done for us on their day-off. Thoroughly enjoyed by all and a great way to mix local history, food and exploration. Thanks to Max for a great tour. Highly recommended!

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
