GRANVILLE ISLAND MARKET TOUR - This tour showcases a cornucopia of fine foods from independent farmers and food artisans throughout Vancouver. Touring the Granville Island Public Market will be one of the most authentic ways to experience Vancouver - after all, what better way to feel the pulse of a city than to immerse yourself in the action?

WORLD'S BEST FOOD TRUCK TOUR - This tour takes you on a two-hour tasting tour of Vancouver's multicultural curbside kitchens while learning about the tricky business of operating gourmet food trucks in Vancouver.

GUILTY PLEASURES GOURMET TOUR - Showcasing over five of downtown Vancouver's award-winning restaurants and food shops, you will sample gourmet food paired with optional wines and beer, meet award-winning food artisans and learn about Vancouver's food culture, history and architecture.

This tour is for everyone. All you need is an interest in food made, served and enjoyed in Vancouver. Our tour guide was informed as well as enthusiastic. And most importantly, lots of tastings along the way!

Our group of 3 did the "Guilty Pleasures Gourmet Foodie Tour" and our guide, Nadia, was superb. As a trained professional chef, she was able to give us background information and insight into the restaurants we visited and food that we sampled. BEWARE.....this tour provides a LOT of food.....so don't eat too big of a breakfast and don't plan on... More

We toured on July 22 2016 and it was an excellent way to enjoy just a few of the many fantastic Food Trucks in downtown Vancouver. Our guide June was an awesome host and is very knowledgeable of the food truck scene. The 4 stops we did were all very tasty and worth visiting again. Highly recommend this tour to... More

Nadia was the best tour guide that I and my family have ever had the pleasure of guiding us. She is completely engaging, deeply knowledgeable, funny, and a pure delight. She spoke not only about the foods available in the marketplace, but gave us ideas about different restaurants around town. It is obvious that she loves what she does, and... More

We did the Gourmet tour and highly recommend it. You get to sample many dishes from some of the finest restaurants in town and get to try 3 flavours at Bella Gelateria without having to queue! There's very little our guide, Nadia, didn't know about food, she's truly passionate and can also advise you were to go and what to... More

Thrilled we found this group - professional, knowledge, entertaining, friendly. We were able to sample food and drink specialities at the Public Market and Taste of Canada that we wouldn't have without the tour. We learned about this history of the island and some of the vendors. Best food tour compared to others in other cities we have been on;... More

Tracy did an outstanding job today (with 15 guests from around the world) hosting us through 8 different food venues on Granville Island. The delicious BC wine and local vegetables at Edible Canada was a perfect starting place. JJ Bean provided local roasted coffee, followed by generous portions of three different artisan breads from Terra Breads. Our next stop was... More

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon! Amazing tasting tour of the market. Hint: do not eat before you go. You will have plenty of tastings, from salad to bread to cheese to fruit to meat to sweet. You will be stuffed, and it's all delicious!

Great tip, Lynn! With over 20 tastings on the Granville Island Market Tour, we often find guests to be "fully satisfied" at the end of the 2 hour experience. Sometimes, eager foodies or those with bigger appetites have a light meal a few hours prior to the tour to get the stomach juices flowing! Thanks for sharing your 5-star review... More

This tour was a wonderful way to see some of the city and taste some amazing food. We took my young son along and it worked out okay, although the tours are setup primarily for adults/older children.

Thanks for your review! We love to have guests of all ages on our tours, but we've found that the Granville Island Market Tour and World's Best Food Truck Tour are the "top picks" for families with younger foodies! Thanks for sharing your insight here on TripAdvisor - we hope to see you again soon! More

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
