Cycle City Tours is now located at 648 Hornby Street near Pacific Centre, a convenient location in downtown Vancouver. This ride gave us the opportunity to see areas of Vancouver that we would like to return to and enjoy again soon. Our guide , Greg, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Greg's sincere love and appreciation for his city was immediately... More

Greg was our guide and he was amazing!!!! Very easy to talk to and was full of information. If we had a question he was able to answer it. We were in Vancouver for 2 days and Cycle City was the best way to see the city. It covered everything and showed you hidden treasures of the city you would... More

Attention: the address on tripadvisor is wrong and please don't waste your time and energy walking there. We were late and anxious when we finally realized we were going the wrong way. It is on Hornby St only a few blocks up from West Hastings. After a rocky start, we were met by friendly and patient staff. They quickly paired... More

Our guide was Paulo. He was knowledgeable and interesting. The ride covered so much of Vancouver and so well, that we chose not to revisit some of the spots. That was great. Our grand tour was combined with a Stanley Park tour. Not sure I liked that since it required us to return to the bike shop mid tour to... More

Our tour guide Paulo was extremely knowledgeable and fun to ride around town with. We always felt safe and comfortable as we made our way through some busy areas and then we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Vancouver. If you book one trip on your visit to this great city, book this one.

I took the 5 hour city tour with guide Paolo. Having previously taken the hop on hop off trolley option I would strongly recommend the bike tour as a much better way to get to know the real Vancouver. Paolo was a fantastic guide with tremendous knowledge and enthusiasm. The biking was mainly on designated bike lanes and apart from... More

My wife and I were visiting Vancouver for the first time and she signed us up for this bike tour. I wasn't expecting much, but holy mackerel was I wrong! It was raining the morning we did it, 9/17/16, so I wouldn't have been disappointed if Cycle City cancelled the tour as there were only 4 of us; another couple... More

Our bike tour was scheduled for a Sat morning at 9am. The weather decided to provide torrential rain for the first half of the 5 hour grand tour ;-). It was truly a Vancouver experience! The ride itself was really fun, great way to get a bunch of the city covered and hear history along the way from the guide.... More

We did the five hour city bike tour on our first day in Vancouver and it was a great way to get to see and know the city. The bikes were lovely and it was nice to have a choice of styles. Our guide Greg was excellent, very knowledgeable and full of energy and passion for the city. The tour... More

I came to Vancouver to attend the Placemaking conference and did the bike tour beforehand. The tour was so much fun and so informative! Greg was so knowledgable on all aspects from good bars, social housing, indigenous art, policy and social issues as well as where to buy amazing shoes! Above and beyond and super enjoyable.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
