We booked this 10 hr trip to Vancouver Island in advance with another couple. Pick-up at our hotel by our driver/guide John was prompt and our group of 17 headed for Vancouver Island. John was a good, informative guide, but in my opinion was a bit over talkative and got a little too personal in his patter with the guests.... More

I used the tour for brief sightseeing. The weather was perfect and the tour was enough to enjoy sunshine. When i went to buy ticket, the employees, Karla and Stella, treated us very kindly. They explained to me specifically and focused on what i said. I was impressed. If i have a chance later, i will use Hop on, Hop... More

My wife and I took a sightseeing tour to Whistler for a day and had Jeffery as our tour guide. He went above and beyond from the second he met us, taking the time to get to know us and all the other passengers made for a very fun experience. Jeffery was funny, engaging, and very knowledgable about the route.... More

We found these tours to be average. The guides were knowledgable but after taking a couple different tours with this company we found they provided conflicting information. We also felt the tours were a bit expensive for what we got out of them. Not bad by any means, but not great value for the price.

A group of us (24) did a land/sea cruise on Princess that started in Anchorage and ended in Vancouver. Rather than fly out of Vancouver we chose to do a short tour (4 hours) and then bus to Seattle. We chose to use the service of West Coast Sightseeing / Errol Sack. I would just like to say this was... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
