How not to run a business! We arrived 40 minutes before kick off to get 5 tickets. The ticket office took 15 minutes and two staff to tell me that they could only do a 3 and 2, but they would be quite close. I paid, and was told they were in fact at opposite ends of the stadium. I... More

I expected more from this stadium with the remarkable and bright dome. During the tour we saw only the main areas and it is a more classical stadium than the adjacent Rogers Arena, but there was a really cool thing we did: we could walk on the field grass!

I visited it because of Vancouver White Caps football match. Great atmosphere, very modern place. Unfortunatelly part of it was under reconstruction.

Fabulous place to watch the Whitecaps play. They have a wide array of foods to offer, all really great! If you're used to getting booze at your stadium, be warned beer comes in small cups with a sippy lid - overpriced IMO. Really clean. Really nice staff.

There are few better places to be on a clear Vancouver night than at BC Place with the roof open. I was there for the very first concert (David Bowie) shortly after the stadium opened in 1983 and have been back many, many times since. My mom and I received tickets for a Whitecaps game this summer. Whitecaps fans are... More

Located in heart of Downtown Vancouver for easy access from most hotels. Home of the BC Lions (CFL Football) and Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS Soccer). Had club level seat for a Whitecaps game. Was only slightly higher than regular seat and much cheaper than NFL prices. Had separate entrance and private concessions and bathrooms. Could order drinks and food for delivery... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
