We managed to get some last minute tickets to see the BC Lions CFL team play at BC Stadium and had a really good time. As a big sports fan I have been to many stadiums across the world and BC place was as good as most. Small but very easy to navigate with a really lively atmosphere. The Lions... More

This building stands out when looking out from the Vancouver Lookout attraction both at day and night time. Had no reason to visit here, but they do tours I believe.

Only came here today for a look around. Sunny day and nice place to take photos. Looks huge and shame a game isn't on while we're here in Vancouver... :)

A great tour, very informative and get to go right down to the side of the pitch. A really good history in pictures of the stadium inside to do before/after the tour too.

Unfortunately there were no matches being played when we were there, but that didn’t stop me wandering down from out hotel (Robson Suites) and walking around the impressive structure. A security guard saw me and questioned what I was doing. I told him I was an Aussie on holidays and wished there was a match on. He told me I... More

Game day...BC Place Stadium...a huge venue with the roof opened up to the sky. BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats playing...my first live football game! Sat near 50-yard line in Coaches Sideline seats with a great view of the game, centre screen and score monitors. Getting caught up in the atmosphere was amazing. Concessions were expensive ($4.75 for a bottled water)... More

It starts out on a very warm summers day...79 degrees to be exact. I am dressed in a golf shirt shorts and running shoes. As I approach the entrance, I am asked to stick out my arms to have a pat down search. Really, the way I'm dressed, what are you hoping to find, weapons of mass destruction? Then I'm... More

Watched the touring English side Crystal Palace play the White Caps. Turned out to be a great game which Vancouver should have won

We went to a CFL game here with the BC Lions hosting the Toronto Argonauts. Great exciting football in an excellent stadium. CFL is something to watch, with a few different rules, it makes for a faster exciting game. The stadium was clean and easy to navigate.

We went on a tour of the stadium, got to stand on the field and poke around the team locker rooms. The tours were a bit overpriced, but she did a great job telling us about how the stadium is run and was friendly and helped recommend other things to do nearby. Would love a cheaper alternative to see it... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
