Whether you are a first timer to Vancouver or just need info on sightseeing, accommodation or transportation in the Vancouver area, this is the place to seek assistance. On both occasions, we found the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable without any hint of pressure selling. It was a bonus to receive a discount on all tour tickets as well (don't... More

Highly recommend you stop here to discuss your Vancouver visit even if you have researched the area. Staff and volunteers are incredibly helpful and will offer great tours with trusted vendors. While we found a Butchart Gardens tour cheaper on the web, the LandTours was just what we ordered.

This office has people working and volunteers and they are always very happy to help. Of course there are some of them more talkative but they all have a lot of patience and they try to do their best to help the tourists. Probably it would be better if the office was a little bit bigger and with more signs... More

My wife and I were very lucky to have met Raymond. He gave us a ton to do in a short amount of time and by asking us a few questions was able to tailor our Vancouver experience to our tastes. BTW Raymond is the guy who brought the famous fireworks competition to Vancouver! How cool is that?

My wife and I were on holiday from Scotland and had already booked a short stay in Victoria. The volunteers were very helpful in arranging bus and ferry tickets. They also gave us some suggestions on local attractions and places to visit once we got there. I wouldn't have any hesitation in using this service again :)

Located at the base of Burrard Street Tourism Vancouver have run and operated this tourist center for years. Great location close by the convention center, cruise terminal and offering partial views of the North Shore Mountains. The info center staff training could be vastly improved. Tons of brochures to look at.

It's right Downtown, perfect for any visitor. Friendly staff and also have half priced tickets to shows and venues. Great tips on what to do on Vancouver.

Everything you want from a Tourist Info Centre. Good information, advice to best way to visit things, and staff who want to help. This should be your first stop in visiting the city.

Gave us loads of useful information & advice. In particular, would like to mention Anne Proudfoot & Sabine Arbuckle who even gave us the 50 cents change we needed for our bus fares to Granville Island - typical of the friendly & polite Canadians we met on our first but not last visto Canada

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
