We consider ourselves so lucky to have booked this Dim Sum experience with another couple at the beginning of our two week Canada sojourn. Thomas was charming, completely informed on the subject (and the art of drinking tea) and a delight to be with - even at 10:30 in the morning.

My husband and I joined Thomas for Dim Sum as part of our honeymoon and it was amazing. He picked a great menu that would be approachable for both newbies and the more seasoned dim sum eaters. He was a wealth of knowledge and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.

My wife and I both really enjoy Dim Sum, and wanted to see what Vancouver had to offer. We were drawn to this 'Dim Sum Adventure' as it provided the opportunity to learn as well as to eat. On arrival, Thomas was already inside the restaurant with tea ready to serve. He then spent a very relaxed 2 hours talking us through different types of tea, Dim Sum, food etiquette, and various pieces of related world history, whilst we sampled a variety of Dim Sum. To accompany the adventure, we were provided with a booklet we could take home with more details of the tea and Dim Sum. Thomas is obviously a very experienced and knowledgable person. He answered any questions that we had. And happily segwayed into areas that we found interesting. He was polite, articulate and good fun to be around. This isn't a tour guide that has started doing food tours - this is someone who has obviously spent years in professional kitchens, and whom has travelled around the world. And the food itself... was excellent. It is slowly presented over the course of the 2 hours, so is always fresh. There was more than enough to go around, and neither my wife nor I left hungry.
