After our usual Sunday breakfast at Lokal Cafe we decided to walk down Trafalgar Street to Point Grey Road and step into the various beautiful and very green parks as we strolled along Point Grey Road looking continually into the absolutely stunning English Bay..viewing the various cargo marine craft waiting for offloading, viewing the North shore, locating building in Downtown Vancouver, and having easy access to the beaches…the views on this Sunday stroll with short stops at various Parks along the way..

Parked in Stanley Park and walked back as parking is expensive. Pretty area with a good vibe. Good eating. Don't miss the 'Laughing men' statues which are really fun

Commonly known as the place "where the city meets the ocean." That pretty much sums it up. Our preferred view was from Kitsilano Point looking over to the busy and high rise infused West End.

The seawall walking path was ideal for our pedestrian-oriented hike up to Second Beach and further on, around parts of Stanley Park.

We were among the first wave of visitors to Canada (borders opened up August 9, 2021) and maybe it will take a little longer for the vibrancy we read about to spring forth. The pandemic put a damper on so many of all our pleasures.

Still enjoyable, certainly a lot less crowded, and the best is yet to come!

It is a correct beach, it isn't like Miami or California of course but you can surely enjoy a cute afternoon there. It can however get crowded.

Beautiful area to walk around in.A must when in Vancouver . Great restaurants and coffee shops. Beautiful body of water with mountains in the background. Great to walk on that part of sea wall that goes right into Stanley Park.

We loved this beach and surrounding area so much that we visited 3 times in our week in Vancouver. Perfect spot to watch the sunset!

English bay is very beautiful , there is plenty of space to relax in the sand . There are many restaurants near and activities like volleyball . The water in the summer gets E-COLI from all the industrial and boat waste and sewage . I wouldn’t swim there !

The place is jam-packed as people make plans to meet each other here. That brings in a lot of rubbish. People throwing breads into the water was cringe worthy!
