Small airport which transports you across to Victoria. Return travel can be the same way or via bus to the ferry and then back on the bus to Vancouver. Plane holds 13 people and is very small inside with seats being tiny. Also very loud in the cabin so earplugs can be provided. Larger people would not fit on. Door... More

Took the 20 minute classic tour on our last day in Vancouver. Flying over the landscape really does make you appreciate what a beautiful place this is, they have it all and it must be a great place to live and work, albeit it a little on the expensive side, but you pay for what you get. Flight takes you... More

We did the 20 minutes panoramic tour. Great price for a unique view of the city and surrounding area. The pilot was good fun and more than happy to answer any and all questions. Would recommend on a clear day.

This is a must in this lovely city...20 mins for around £65 (depending on exchange rate). The flight actually lasted a bit longer and we flow around the islands outside Vancouver, Grouse Mountain and then all over the city. Fantastic experience taking off and landing on the water and so much better than I imagined. Make sure you get a... More

We chose the 30 minute seaplane adventure over the city and Howe sound with mountain views. It was so exciting to see the sail boats and freighters in the water. Seeing the city from the sky is an incredible experience! This was my first time on a seaplane and it is something I would definitely repeat. I would consider a... More

We did a Seaplane tour while visiting Vancouver. We did the "extended tour" which was a full 35 minutes of flying over Vancouver and the mountains - the views were breathetaking! Two little disappointed, when we were sold our tour we were told that we each get a window seat which was not true. We were 13 in the plane... More

What a fantastic day starting with a very fun 3 hour zodiac-type boat tour from Vancouver harbor to Horseshoe Bay. Our guides were knowledgeable and made the trip really fun stopping at various spots along the way to describe which islands we were passing and other points of interest. Saw lots of seals and ocean birds. They sometimes encounter whales... More

Booked on a tour over mountains with lake landing for lunch. Unfortunately this was cancelled 1 hour before hand as the other people booked on pulled out. They were unable to contact me so I did not find out until I was trying to book in. However, they put me on a 20 min Vancouver flight for no charge and... More

My wife and I had a 2:45pm flight from Vancouver to Hong Kong, our home. However, we were in Whistler and the earliest flight from Whistler to Vancouver (not the airport!) was at noon. We had chartered a car for our return to the airport, but then I thought to inquire about chartering a flight from Whistler to the airport.... More

Dear John A, Thank you so much for your 5-star review and recommendation!! What a beautiful way to end your trip to British Columbia! What a wonderful idea to charter an aircraft to take you from Whistler to the South Terminal at YVR. Your photos are stunning! It's true, you can take the flight to Whistler a hundred times it... I have used their service on several occasions and have found them to be very efficient and on time. Being a Seaplane service they are more at the mercy of the weather than land based planes although the terrain in Nanaimo and Vancouver adds to protect from weather related shutdowns. Very professional pilots and boy what a gorgeous trip on... More

Dear Bill J, Thank you so much for your 5-star review and recommendation! We are always pleased to hear from our frequent passengers, thank you for the wonderful feedback. Unfortunately winter weather can impact our flights, in these instances our teams will offer alternative options to help passengers arrive at their destinations. It is true, due to the nature of... Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
