The area

Address
Neighborhood: Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.

A bit disappointed to me when BC ferries connector unable to arrive at my destination (Vancouver Fairmont) timely for a journey from Victoria to Vancouver. It is over 30mins late! I felt very annoyance for many added stops (never informed in advance) before the coach entered into Vancouver downtown. Also the route within Vancouver downtown was strange. Vancouver Fairmont is planned to be the last stop of four. However, the coach did pass the Vancouver Fairmont after the 1st stop in downtown. Few persons including me forced to do a city adventure (2nd and 3rd stops) with the ride. I don’t care if it did not cause me late to arrive destination,

After an Alaskan cruise ending in Vancouver, we decided to visit Victoria and used the BC Ferries Connector as transportation Canada Place (the port in Vancouver). We had a reservation and was met by a BC Ferries representative who took us to a bus. We boarded the bus and picked up passengers at one other stop and at the bus terminal where we sat about 15 minutes. The bus then took us to the ferry and drove onto the ferry. We disembarked the bus while on the ferry and were free to eat, shop, or enjoy the scenery and before getting into Victoria we boarded the bus again. The bus took us to downtown Victoria to the BC Ferries building where we hopped a taxi to our hotel. The experience was seamless and easy to do. The cost was reasonable and the scenery was dramatic. All in all a wonderful ride and great way to see the area!

My son and I traveled from Victoria to Vancouver using the BC connector. They picked us up at our hotel then dropped us at the bus collection point. We drove to the ferry and were able to get off the bus and enjoy the scenic ferry ride over. Then it was easy back on the bus and they took us right to downtown Vancouver. We had a reasonable amount of luggage and it was all easily stowed under the bus and we didn't have to worry about it again until we took it off in Vancouver.

Used the BC connector to travel from Vancouver bus station to Victoria bus station via ferry and then the return from Victoria to Vancouver airport. Friendly, helpful drivers both ways. Was offered free city maps of Victoria and Vancouver and a newspaper and magazine. If you have luggage they keep it on the bus when you travel on the ferry meaning you are luggage free for the 1hr30min crossing. There is a cafe and a restaurant on the ferry, a small shop and plenty comfortable seating. All ran smoothly and to schedule. You don’t need to buy ferry tickets it’s all included in the bus price. I found this service great and very easy. The best way to travel between the 2 cities. Be at the bus station 15-30mins before departure for ticket check’s and luggage loading. The ticket desk closes 5mins before departure.

I booked the bus Connector from Vancouver to Victoria, BC, for 8/28/2019. It is a direct bus transportation between the 2 cities almost from door to door depending in which hotel you are staying. Going to Victoria was not a problem. I boarded the shuttle bus outside Holiday Inn as scheduled. The driver collected more passengers until we reached the bus depot where all of us got off and boarded the big bus for the ferry. Upon arrival, the bus parked on the first level of the ferry and we went upstairs seating on superior decks where the restaurant and gift store were located. Upon arrival at Victoria in the big bus, again we reached the bus depot and boarded a shuttle to reach our individual accommodation. Now going back on 8/31/2019 it was a different scenario. The shuttle came to pick me up as scheduled at my accommodation in Victoria and we got off again at the bus depot where we boarded the big bus till we reached the port for the ferry. The ferry crossing time was approximately one hour. Upon arriving in Vancouver, the bus started dropping the passengers and stopping at the airport. Later, the bus made a stop at the bus stop and I got off as I did it atg previous times. The driver called Ken instructed me to ride a bus or the train. I was stunned. I told him that I would have to be dropped at the Holiday Inn as per requested. Then, he requested me to return to my seat in a very rude manner. I had 2 bags and it was difficult for me to carry them up and down the stairs. He never tried to help me. He should have notified us with his microphone to remain on the bus. It took 1 1/2 hr. for exclusively dropping all passengers to their accommodation much more than the cruise crossing time. I was the last one to get off and it was 10h00 PM.
When I booked the trip, I was told that I would be back at 9h00 PM at my accommodation. The employee never mentioned to me the stop at the airport. If I knew, I could have taken with me my bag and also be dropped at the airport upon returning to Vancouver instead of going on my own later. As mentioned above, the driver called Ken was not at all courteous. I called the company to get a refund for the way back and they denied it. They told me that will speak to the staff involved in that transaction but that won't solve the issue.
The cost of that bus round trip CA$171.94 was not cheap when the cost of the ferry one-way would be approx. CA$17.00 as I was told. To reach the port located far from Vancouver downtown, the train and 2 buses would be needed. And that why I decided to use the Connector bus. I think it would be shorter and cheaper to use the public transportation on the way back from Victoria to Vancouver. I was told that the stop at the airport is not a routine one. We also did not stop at the airport on our way to Victoria. The more the bus would be full, the more time it would take to drop all passengers.
I did not perform searches prior to leave and decided to use that bus company offering transportation door to door. Take the time to research the trip and ask the company employee what is the bus trip status for the time you wish to use it.

My wife and I used this service and at first it was just as advertised. We got picked up at the airport and the taken to the port without issue. The issue came when the bus we were supposed to transfer onto never arrived. Our bus driver made sure we got us onto the ferry and that's why I even gave this trip any stars. He really was polite and helpful. He didn't leave until we were on the ferry. Now that our bus wasn't on the ferry, we had to handle our luggage and find our own way to downtown victoria. Either a 1 hour plus bus ride or an expensive taxi. The BC Ferry workers including the chief seaward declined to help us or find a way to accomodate us. They didn't even have a way to refund us either. We paid to not need to carry our luggage and not find our way to our hotel, but we didn't get those things and weren't properly compensated for it either. The first day of our honeymoon was just stressful.

Used this company to get us from the cruise ship port to downtown Victoria. Included in our package was a 45 minute bus ride to the Connector Ferry, then about a 1 1/2 hour ferry ride , and the same bus ride to downtown Victoria was another 45 minutes. Great way to travel between the two areas, Vancouver to Victoria. There was also a nice restaurant on board, and plenty of seating inside or out on the deck. We did not see any whales, but there is the opportunity to see them. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get to Victoria from Vancouver.

We took the Connector operated by Wilson's Transport Company from downtown Victoria to downtown Vancouver. The luxury bus boards a BC Ferry as part of the journey.
The entire experience from booking the reservation through to arrival was easy, convenient and ultimately great value.
There are options offered for pick up and drop off locations in both cities.
We highly recommend this service!!
