There is literally nothing to do here! There is a play place with one slide - however it costs $11.50 per kid to go in. Other than that it’s just an arcade with a lot of broken games and very overpriced toy stores (think $15 little hot wheels cars).
It was very disappointing.

There's a massive two story ball room with slides and digital games to play. Great for anyone under 8. Virtual Reality machines for older kids, an arcade and great food on the top floor. Downstairs we spent quite a while in the costume shop. We found some really cool props. Plan to go back for the amazing wigs for my cosplayers. There's a shop for sports fans, one with only toys made of wood. There's clothing, boots, bathing suits, shoes and baby gifts. It is the most complete collection of things kids love.

First, my 5-year-old liked it. She didn't love it, she liked it. But she's not writing the review, I am, so here's my take.
Basically, it is a collection of toy stores within a mini-mall with a play area on the top floor. Nothing more. Yes, there are lots of toys and a variety of items to buy and poke and feel, but essentially it is like somebody took a Toys R Us and divided into 20 different partitions, and gave each partition a new store name.
The play area on the top floor was, apparently, lots of fun and my daughter spent a good 45 minutes running around and came out sweating from exertion! The old-style gaming room ain't that - not sure when HD video games were old style... There are some things like whack a mole and things where you can win tickets to trade in for the cheapest most environmentally depressing toys collected anywhere...

Kids Market is in Granville Island near Public Market. It has a building, and a door, for kids. Inside you will see big multi story playground of Adventure Zone which a kid can go in and out once you buy a ticket for a day. Adults can enter with kids if they young. There are arcade games, food, toy stores and tables and seats around the playground to watch your kid. Great rainy day activity and fun time for kids. Many stores specializing in various kid oriented items.

Just a collection of small shops selling the same toys, clothes, and gimmicks you can find anywhere else. The indoor play area was expensive and small - my 5 and 7 yr old were bored after 5 minutes.
If you have kids dont bother making the trip to Granville Island for this place alone.

Kids can easily spend half day there. There are different kinds of toy stores and an indoor play area. It's also right next to a small, free outdoor waterpark.

Now don't get me wrong, I do have two children who do like this place bit even they want to leave this place after 10 mins. Over priced, which im sure is due to the cost to lease the space and not because theyre selling anything really unique. Its dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting and garbage cans are full. To be honest there's one shop in the whole place where I found something different than all the others and that was the place with the kites and puppets on the main floor. Everything else you'll find at the local mall or dollar store.

I really appreciated that all the businesses there are independently owned. Each shop had a thoughtful selection of quality stuff. Plus the kids had hours of fun inside and outside at the cute little boat playhouse.

It's a little tired and could stand a good clean-up, not all of the games work, and the values of the prizes leave a lot to be desired, but my four year old grandson and all the other kids I watched running around were laughing and squealing with delight when they pulled their tickets out of the machines in the games room. We visited several times and I purchased either $10 or $20 in gaming coins for him to play with. With some help, he won hundreds of tickets to trade in for prizes, which were a plastic snake and a kinder chocolate egg. I repeat, the fun he had was priceless, but value for dollar does not exist. Every ride costs $1.00 and the bumper cars are $5 per ride (which I do admit last quite a while and are managed by a friendly young man). The stores are fun to visit and the kids' barbershop is the best I have ever seen complete with cars for the children to sit in, videos to watch and a charming young woman who is skilled in the art of cutting hair and entertaining children during the haircut. No doubt I will return ….kid at heart that I am. I have assigned a rating of average, given the gaming costs.
I have also indicated that I am not sure if this is a "must-do", as I am more of a fan of outdoor and free activities. I indicated not sure for wheelchairs, as the elevator can accommodate one at a time, but the gaming room might be a little restrictive.

This place has everything kids love, all the toys, clothes, games, costumes, dancewear, you name it. Prices are really good and it's lots of fun. The people in the shops really seem to like kids and aren't worried if they're loud or excited.
