Lovely long sweeping beach which we were able to enjoy from our Pacific Heights suite. Crashing surf and lots of sand, what’s not to like!

We visited here several times for photographs. It is very popular --families, couples, dogs. A beautiful beach, especially at low tide when you can see the sea life in tide pools.

Great beach for longish walks, big loud surf, bike riding, watching the surfers and spectacular sunsets.

Cox Bay Beach is a beautiful sweeping beach with hikes on each side that provide majestic views. This is by far the best beach to chill and watch the surfers and is one of the few beaches the kids can easily find sand dollars on.

We found this area to be excellent for beach walking and photography as there are there are interesting rock formations in the background and also the Tofino lighthouse is visible. We obtained some excellent images near sunset .

Just one of my favourite beaches in the world, not sure I can say much more. Always come here when visiting family on the Island. Sat with friends and family and enjoyed a spectacular sunset. Added bonus of breaching whales not far off shore!

There is a dock in tofino and I have seen some fisherman fishing off the beaches. The best would be to go down to fishing docks and ask someone there... also you might need a licence ?
